Patrick was kind, patient, and knowledgable. He spent lots of time explaining the process to me and listening to my fears, anxieties, and concerns. Then, he took me on a journey into my mind. I didn't feel scared or vulnerable - I felt safe. The most telling part of the visit was the fact that, at the end, Patrick said, "Okay, good luck!" He didn't try and reschedule a second visit or anything. This, to me, means that he's doing the work for the work's sake, and if one visit is all it takes, so be it. Most specialists want to get you on the client list, but the revenue stream is not what Patrick is here for. Bottom line: Give hypnotherapy a try if you're frustrated by other treatments out there. I would first like to say that Nicholas has a great set-up as far as where we met for our therapy sessions. He works out of his home, so there are options to have therapy sessions with him indoors, out in his amazing backyard, or while walking around nearby natural areas in his neighborhood. This ability to have options in terms of environment was really helpful for me as his client. One of the things I appreciated about Nicholas' approach as a therapist is that he was very versatile when it came to working with me. Sometimes he simply listened to me empathetically, sometimes he connected me to pertinent resources/articles, sometimes we role-played, and sometimes he offered perspective from his own personal experience--all of which were helpful.
