Love the real Sourdough French Bread baked fresh daily, and the fresh baked goods. They have a great wine/beer/etc selection in Silverton for a small store. Usually clean and well lit (compared to the other Safeway off Hi 22, which sometimes is not well staffed and has tired looking produce). In Silverton, lots put out in the deli section, but could really do well if they had fresh items for sandwiches instead of just packaged meat. Lots of markets sell subs....and my favorite markets have had fresh roasted roast beef on a spit and good prepared fruit and bean salads. If they improved those areas, they would get to the next level.

I refuse to drive into that area, despite two food carts being there (which as far as I know are pretty good!) The inside of the store is pretty cluttered and dirty and a mish mosh of "stuff". Restrooms? Completely scary. I swear, I'd love to manage the place for just a week in order to talk to the owners about making improvements. It needs some love..
