I specifically asked for short nails. When I noticed they were much longer than what I had requested, I asked if they could be made shorter. Instead of simply working with me to correct the length, she became upset and said, "Why didn't you tell me?" I explained that I did tell her, and when I asked again for them to be shortened, I was told that she couldn't because of the way they had already been done. The overall application also looked sloppy and uneven, especially around the cuticles and the gel application. The shaping and finish were not what I would expect from a $110 Gel-X service. Unfortunately, the pictures speak for themselves. I want to mention that she was a very sweet and nice lady, and I don't have anything negative to say about her personally. However, based on my experience, I don't feel she was sufficiently experienced or trained with Gel-X specifically. If you're charging $110 for this service, the quality and attention to detail need to match the price. I left feeling like I paid $110 for a set I wasn't happy with, and unfortunately I wouldn't return for Gel-X.
