Dr. Chumley has an impressive educational background (according to his bio he graduated from UC Riverside and earned his Master's Degree and Medical Doctorate from Georgetown University), plus a lot of experience, having had a private practice in Hawaii for 14 years before returning to the mainland and setting up his practice in Torrance. As impressive as his knowledge, skills, and experience are, we are even more impressed with Dr. Chumley's bedside manner. He takes the time to ask pertinent questions, provide explanations in understandable terms, and actually listens to his patients. He has a great office staff too. A patient's experience with their doctor depends a lot on their interaction with his assistants and staff, with all of the necessary appointments, paperwork, and follow-ups. Their roles are underrated if you ask me. We had a rather urgent matter to discuss with Dr. Chumley so Lucy, one of his assistants, fit us into his already packed schedule (Thank you, Lucy!) and we didn't feel at all rushed during our session.
