We've stayed here numerous times. But it has been 2-3 years Hotel needs a lot of updating. Rooms are average size, bathrooms very small and not very clean. Beds are hard and pillows ever horrible. We could hear whoever was above us walking around all night. We were very disappointed. read more

The room was clean. The bed was comfy. The shower had decent water pressure. Just passing through Sikeston so only stayed one night.

Our room was sub par this time. This is 3rd time we have stayed here. Usually rooms are decent. Tv doesn't work, bathroom vanity light out and water damage in bathroom in which baseboard molding off. Very disappointing. Hopefully this review will cause owners to make changes necessary. I would appreciate a response. read more

On our stop on the way from michigan to Houston, we found this little town and made our stop there. It's a franchise so my expectations were low. I couldn't have been more surprised! What a great place for a great night's sleep. Their exercise room was perfect to keep off vacation pounds, and cortes, our front desk clerk was very helpful! He gave us the lowdown on area restaurants and even made sure our air conditioning was going and fridge plugged in and cold! Don't forget your free bottle of water! Oh and the pillows? I haven't slept that good in years; unfortunately is is a best western brand pillow but I now know what to look for in a great pillow! Clean rooms, great staff! read more

The place is a dump! It is NOT worth $110+ fees for a suite. They may be redoing it. Then it would be worth the money yes like their sister hotels. But NOT now!! The website did not say they we're NOT having a breakfast due to COVID. The website did not say the swimming pool was not open. The parking is on gravel. The pictures showed AC units in the bedrooms. The pictures I bet are standard for all their hotels. The phone didn't work for the front desk. What if there was a fire, or a medical emergency? My cell phone was on LTE. 911 wouldn't know where I was calling from. The bathroom did NOT look like their website. The outside photos are correct. They said we were there an hour and could not get our money back. My husband waited 30 minutes for them to find us a room during that hour. We were in the room less than 30 minutes. Scam scam scam! That's part of their trick. They've had others want their money I bet ya. DO NOT GO HERE! They were VERY nice on the phone. I cannot complain about that. read more

Very nice hotel. My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed there April 2, 2022 and it was the best! Great service, great breakfast and the desk clerks were all so nice. Very comfortable, clean beds. Trust me I checked! Great heated pool also. I will definitely be staying there again. read more

Couldn't give zero stars or I would have. The room wasn't too bad, breakfast sucked. I think it was the most rude owners, I have ever met. Double charged me and wouldn't admit that he screwed up. I finally called Best Western corporate office and they called the property and got it straightened out. "In 10 to 12 business days" why does it take 10 to 12 seconds to take money out of my account but 10 to 12 days to get it back? I do not recommend this hotel. read more

If I could give a zero I would. I do not understand all the good ratings, this place is junk. Room smelled like smoke, bathroom wasn't clean, sheets had stains on them, tops of the dresser was sticky. Called two hours prior to see if the pool was open and the kid at the desk said it was and that was it...well he didn't mention that the heater to the pool was broken and it was ice cold. The ice machine was also broken and they only had ONE for the whole place. SO GROSSS everything was so gross and dirty. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! This is an older property that has had cosmetic renovations (new paint, pictures, flooring, etc) but still has the old mattresses etc. and the way we could tell was our room was suppose to be a non-smoking room but lying in bed you could still smell the cigarette smoke smell, faint, but there. It was clean. Bathroom corners around the floor and bathtub were dingy giving more evidence to an older property. The breakfast was ok, the difference between this hotels "full breakfast" and continental is the eggs and meat offerings. The eggs are never "real" and the meat is usually sausage which is greasy. This is an ok place to stay for a night or two. Service was good. read more

I give this hotel a 1 star review reason why is because the room was dirty and we woke up with bed bugs bites , the manager just plain rude as well , we asked if we can get another room he said no there's no more room but yet a couple came in asking for a room with no reservations from what I heard and gave them a room which was plain bull. hotel overall is ok comfortable beds, AC works good, breakfast is good, BUT........ they allow thieves to continue working after being compensated for the missing items, along with very rude customer service, the new manager acts and looks drugged out, is constantly outside with random men(I stay a lot due to work) which looks Alot like random deals going in and out of the parking lot, I have asked, complained many many times and nothing gets done. if I had the choice I would stay elsewhere due to this lack of accountability for their employees and their activities while working. read more

We really liked this place! For just under $100 the night of, we got a cozy room, a full breakfast (you gotta watch the pancake maker!) and a clean indoor pool. It made for an easy and pleasant stay on our drive from Memphis to Chicago! read more

Disappointed all around. Tiny pool, no hot tub, beds are hard as rocks, huge bloody booger smeared on the wall right next to the bed. Worst of all, we called the front desk to request two extra blankets, which we were told to go downstairs to the front desk to get ourselves. My husband came back to the room with two satin bed scarfs. The man at the front desk sternly told him "this is all we have" when my husband said "these aren't blankets". I guess you get what you pay for :/ I will be spending the extra $20 for a higher quality stay. Do not recommend. read more

The rooms were clean and spacious. They had free bottled water in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the breakfast selection. Lots of different teas, toppings for oatmeal and yogurt, waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy..... Great value and great service! Can't ask for more. read more

Great hotel! Very clean and well appointed rooms. They even had complimentary bottled water. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was impressive. I'm used to seeing a few stale danishes accompanied with a basic coffee station. They had a whole cooked breakfast: bacon, gravy, eggs, and a waffle station. The also had an extensive oatmeal bar with a variety of toppings. The coffee was great and they had a good selection of high quality flavored creamers. They also had fresh danishes, bagels, and fruit. We will definitely be returning on our next trip through the area. read more

The first floor hallway had an odor of cat urine. My room was at the very end of the hall, just inside the back entrance. There is a sign that says you need a room key to enter, but that is not true. That door was never locked. Next to that door and directly outside my room window, is a smokers bench. This bench had a variety of visitors all night long. Could hear every step taken by the people on the floor above me . The room itself was very poorly lit. the closet did not have a light in it, and when you stood in front of it, you blocked any light from the small lamp nearby. The bathroom was very large. the vanity and stool on one side and the tub/shower on opposite wall. There was no light in the shower other than the ceiling fixture, and it would occasionally turn off & on by itself. The sink drain had to be manually manipulated by reaching under the sink and pushing on the metal piece that should have been connected to the drain. There were several large bath towels, but only one washcloth. The bathroom door opened and closed by itself several times during the night. The breakfast was free. That is the best I can say about that. They had gravy, lots of it, and one biscuit. No eggs. Some kind of pink meat, I think faux ham. The pastries were great, after removing the cellophane wrapper. I asked the attendant about juice and she responded with "not right now" I don't know how I was to interpret that. There is a curb surrounding the parking lot, so if you have rolling luggage, you either have to go out the main entrance or lift luggage over the curb. Overall, it was a long, uncomfortable night. I don't think I will stay here again. I gave it 2 stars only because the front desk attendant was very pleasant. read more
