This is an older hotel that needs to be updated. We reserved a King Room - upon arrival they did not have any, only queens. We asked more questions because king rooms were still showing available on their website. So, very frustrating when you arrive late at night. Took the room, but will choose another option next visit.

The friendly kitty.

We stayed at this hotel with our dogs on our cross country journey. The room was large and clean. The staff was helpful and kind. At 10:00 all noise in the pool ended. The dog relief area was clean and stocked with bags. There was even a friendly beautiful cat hanging out to pet, although the dogs were not pleased. LOL

This is probably the worst experience I've ever had staying in a hotel, the hallway to my room was infested with spiders, even on the door to my room there was three spiders on a huge spiderweb. also on the stairwell I saw over two dozen spiders and a wasps nest, but the worst part is that when I went to complain at the hotel lobby the lady at the front desk told me that the whole property was infested and management knew about it. but that's not all when she called security and he came to the lobby as soon as I told him that the property was infested with spiders and that they needed to take immediate action he went crazy, Started cursing at me and even threatened me with calling the police on me if I didn't leave the lobby, he also threatened me with calling ice and have them drag me out of lobby. Here are some pictures of all the spiders and if you want to look at the video I posted it on you tube under best western inn racist hotel staff.

We were at this place to spend the night on our way back to Houston. First of all, we got the room on the second floor. We didn't mind carrying our stuffs to our room without the elevator. We stayed in room 201.The room seemed nice and clean until my husband saw FLEAS jumping to his legs. We were totally freaked out and brought all of our stuffs to the beds to avoid them. My husband tried to catch one FLEA as an evidence to show them and he succeeded quickly, see the picture. I called the receptionist immediately to request to change the room. The receptionist rejected rudely: "No mam, we don't allow pets in our rooms" with an attitude. I said we caught one and "invited" her to come and check the room by herself. She said she couldn't come since nobody was at front desk that time and sent somebody to our room. The maintenance guy came and saw the FLEA we caught. He smiled and just gave us a key to the new room. None of the staffs gave us an apology. We had to suffer there one night and left early in the morning. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Nice and clean

No complaints here . It was very clean , beds are comfy and even had a cute animal towel folded on the bed with mints . Big plus they allow dogs which is just what we needed since we are moving across state and keep getting stuck at the Red Roof cigar smelling hotels . The only reason we stayed at those is because they allow pets as well, but not anymore . this is like a five star suite compared to that, lol.

Very comfortable bed!

The only complaint I have with ALL Hilton hotels is that the pillows are worthless. Breakfast was good and the breakfast area CLEAN! five stars for the that! The other nice thing about this hotel is that they are close to a Ruby Tuesday and it is good. The only difficult thing about this place is getting to it. Do not make a Uturn at the light. You need to go all the way in and take the frontage road. Busy traffic too. All in all, our quick nights stay was good. I would stay here again.

It's really not a good reflection of the brand. First impression, had to wait more than 10 minutes to check in because there was no staff to be found. Once an attendant did show up there was no apology for our wait and she was on a call on her EarPods during our check-in. A few of us were waiting. The lobby had dirty walls, furniture and ceiling that was water damaged. Second impression, our bathroom floor was soaked from a leaky shower head. Room walls were disgusting with marks everywhere and wallpaper was ripped in many places. Furniture outdated and bed super uncomfortable (cheap and bouncy). Only saving grace was clean sheets. Lasting impression, three different groups waiting for the elevator for what seemed like forever in the hot hallway on the 4th floor because there was only one working elevator. People were riding it up just to ride it down because it was taking that long. Other couples noted how it was worse the other days. Recommendation: Do not stay here. It's not worth the money. The service, comfort, and cleanliness were all a miss.

Absolutely Outstanding Stay - Best Holiday Inn Express Experience Hands Down!…read more I just wrapped up an incredible stay at the Holiday Inn Express Pascagoula-Moss Point, and wow--what a gem! From the moment I walked in, the super friendly staff had me feeling like family. Shoutout to the front desk team--they were genuinely welcoming, helpful with local recommendations, and always smiling no matter what time of day. The rooms are seriously spacious--big, modern, and spotless. Plenty of room to spread out, comfortable beds that felt like sleeping on clouds, crisp fresh linens, and everything just smelled clean and inviting. It's the kind of place where you actually look forward to coming back after a long day. And the breakfast? Absolute game-changer. They go way beyond the standard continental--hot options like eggs, sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, and great coffee that kept flowing. It was delicious, well-stocked every morning, and the variety made starting the day easy and enjoyable. The whole property is well-maintained, quiet, convenient off I-10, and perfect for anyone passing through or staying in the Moss Point/Pascagoula area. Cleanliness is top-tier, value is unbeatable, and the vibe is just positive all around. If you're looking for a reliable, upgraded Holiday Inn Express experience with big rooms, killer breakfast, and staff that truly cares--book this place without hesitation. 10/10, will definitely be back next time I'm in the area! Highly recommend--easily one of the best in the chain.

They had a free breakfast Buffett for the morning that including eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, waffles, cereal, as well as muffins, fruit, bagels, juice, and coffee. Well worth the price!

The staff is also very friendly. The parking area didn't feel like a safe place for me to leave my car, and it was a bit of a rough crowd that seemed to be staying there. One guy was intently staring at me as I unloaded my car, and there is no security for the hotel. The room felt clean, which was good for a $135 room fee (plus $15 pet fee). Also there are shelves by the sink that are extremely easy for cats to jump onto. This makes it possible for them to climb onto the extremely weak plastic light fixture over the sink. I tried my best to block off this shelf with boxes from my car, but my clever cat still managed to climb up there and wake me multiple times throughout the night. The platform of the bed is also about eight inches from the wall allowing dogs or cats a perfect hard to reach hiding spot. My brother was placed in a room next to the laundry room which also has the maids utility closet in it. He woke to someone doing their laundry at 3am, and then again at 9am to the maids laughing and talking loudly. I recommend trying to get a room that isn't near the laundry area if you're going to stay here.

The front desk actually called up to us after we got to our room to ask if we were okay with everything or needed anything. I brought up the smell and she said it's a non-smoking room so it shouldn't be that bad. It felt like a dismissal of liability but whatever. I didn't trade rooms because I wanted to be across from my father's room. Thankfully my baby doesn't have asthma or respiratory issues. We all kept waking up with runny noses and headaches though, so it's a situation. I was concerned with cleaning room staff because one of the ladys walked into my room (I had a "do not disturb" sign on the door!) and then walked out after figuring out that we were inside. Upon walking down the hallway I noticed another member of cleaning staff doing something in a guest's room, and after he left he didn't close the door. He left it opened for some reason even after he had finished refreshing the room!! More concern. To top off my concerns, when we arrived back at our room for the night after being at my grandmother's funeral we parked next to a couple blatantly having sex and smoking weed in their vehicle. I looked over so they would KNOW I saw and the male exited his car. However, when I spoke to the front desk clerk about the safety concerns I had she told me "if I don't mess with them they won't mess with me" and "we have cameras if they did try to mess with anything." After I walked away from the desk, she burst out laughing and told the other two ladies standing there something, probably making fun of me for being concerned. My husband and I were contemplating leaving immediately. When we woke up and stepped out of room door, it was an overpowering smell of weed. The staff were the only ones in the hallways. I used the laundry machines to wash/dry clothes, it costs $2 in quarters for each. There are no quarter machines so you have to go down to the front desk and trade dollar for quarters. One of the machine's detergent drawer was completely missing and detergent had leaked down the washer. The ice machine right beside it didn't work. This is on the third floor, I cannot speak to any of the other floors. I feel like I'm just adding insult to injury at this point so I'm done. I will add that one of the only redeeming factors is the breakfast and breakfast staff! The lady refreshing the food was so kind and kept everything very clean. In conclusion, if you're looking for a place to stay to chill/smoke weed/have sex in the parking lot/wake up with headaches and runny noses from the smoke inside your room this is your place. This location has signage communicating a smoke-free environment but that doesn't apply obviously. The sad part, the other surrounding hotels didn't look much better on this exit. My advice would be stay at a different exit. Having to drive a little further would've been worth not having my family's safety compromised. They just don't care to follow rules!

There was a kitchenette which was a nice touch and hot water in the shower which was a welcome site after being in the last chain of this place in NOLA and having luke warm water. There was a sitting area with a small apartment sized sofa that was a pull out couch. My friend pulled it out to see how it was and there was still sheets and blankets on it which I assume were from a different guest which is a bit frightening.
