I've been with guys for years and they've always been on time , I'm grateful for their service !!

I have had Best Value for at least 5 years and each year it's getting worse. I pay yearly just so I don't forget, within the last 2 months they have not picked up 4 times and a few other times throughout the year. I have to continue to call, and the say they will go out, they don't go, I call again the same thing. Finally I ask for credit and it was granted, but they good only do 2 weeks credit. I called again Monday and Trina said they would send some one out on Thursday. I told them no, that does not work for me, they need to go Tuesday. Trina said ok, and they would also be out on the regularly schedule day of Thursday. Guess what? No show on Thursday!! This company is on time for billing and answering the phone, but not much else. read more

I've been with Best Value for quite some time. They sure started out strong, but in the last 2 years, it's like pulling teeth, to get your trash picked up! Supposed to have the trash bin on the curb by 6am and I have, but the trash doesn't get picked up! An entire week goes by and here I am on the 2nd week, it's Trash pick up day, and I called and all they had to say was they'd get to it when they could. Horrible business practices!! WARNING!! Another two weeks without trash service, last month 3 weeks, the month before 2 weeks. See a pattern? Unreliable, unapologetic, will not take responsibility but will take your money. When calling to tell them trash has not been picked up this week they respond with "our drivers have until 6pm to pick up trash."......ok 6pm when? Hell freezes over. Their customer service is as functional as their trash service. DO NOT use these crooks. The Better Business Bureau is aware of this business and practices, their answer, "Research a company before using their service". Nothing they can do according to them. The City supposedly can't do anything because licensing a trash service involves trucks passing inspection and offering two sizes of containers, according to a city representative......Best Value is not a service that I would recommend. read more

They went out of business 10/22. Had several weeks trash not picked up & check cashed 1st of Oct. for trash service thru end of the year. I was told by the office staff in Haysville mid. Oct. that they would be working on refunds in a few wks. Have not received anything. There is a KAKE news story on their website Oct. 5th that gives people a link to assist with refunds thru the Sedgwick County District Attorney's Office -Consumer Protection division. read more

I rarely result to reviews on businesses unless they are extremely good or extremely bad. There's not a lot of reason that a trash service can go wrong-its pretty basic, I pay for a service to be performed outside the home. If it's done-no complaints. Even when the driver was extremely rude to us, I still have not complained. However, my trash was to be picked up Tuesday-it is now Friday. We have called multiple times. We were told the driver did pick it up...I have added the picture, he obviously did not. When we explained he did not-they said they would send someone. Called again-promised again. Now I have to apparently go through the weekend as well. There are many trash companies in this town-I will be switching to another that can actually pick up the trash as advertised. read more

This company has horrible customer service and even worse pick up service in the last three months of service they have missed more than a full month of pick ups, and when I call and ask when I will get a pick up it will be 1 to 3 days later. I paid for 3 months of pick up and they miss a full month within that they miss a full months service and it doesn't even occur to them to Comp the missing month. As I write this they did not come today which will now mean we are going into second week missed as they did not come last week and three weeks before that they were week behind. They are scamming or stealing money from their clients by not meeting their obligations and contracted agreements. in what business could you charge for four weeks of service and only provide three of it and expect to get paid and now repeat that week after week for months. read more

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. As of this writing it has been two weeks since they picked up for my "weekly" trash service. When the office is contacted the very snotty woman says to just put it beside the dumpster, they won't charge any extra. My beef is they are paid for weekly trash service, not bi-weekly, monthly, or when ever they feel like it service. After the holiday I was late paying and got a nasty letter threating to drop me from their service if I am ever late again. Then I got a bill charging me a finance charge for the late payment. Just wondering how I, and the others that are like me, are going to be compensated for the total breech of contract when they aren't providing the services they are paid for in advance. I can't recommend this company! They're unreliable, and very unpredictable as well as unprofessional? My biggest issue was I reported my trash cart wheel broken they promise to replace it with new cart they never did? After several months of frustration I called and told them that I would come and pick up the damn cart myself after all the excuses of them being short handed,etc. Which for me was unexceptable. As a new customer, gotta say the service is horrible. Last week they forgot to pick up my trash and recycle bins, I called and they sent a truck the next day. This week, they bypassed me again but said they would be out to get it - again, they forgot and now it's Saturday so I'll have to drag my cart and bags back to the curb again on Monday. When I signed on at the beginning of 2014, they were pretty reliable. I've stuck with them because their price has barely gone up at all (currently $66 for 3 months). Over the past couple years, it's just been less and less reliable. Sometimes they'd be a day late (not counting the holiday schedules) but still pick up. Then every once in a while, they'd miss me entirely and I'd have to call and get a credit. Now, they've missed the past two weeks, and when I call, I'm told they're "running behind" but will be there the next day. Hasn't happened. Rather than wait for them to miss a third week, I think I'm going to check around for better options. Would be 1 star, but benefit of the doubt that it could get better, and the price seems good. read more

The female I spoke to didn't seem to know much about anything and never gave me a straight answer about anything. Service is awful. We have had them for a several months and they pick up maybe 2 times a month. We have to call at least once a month asking why it hasn't been picked up. Called today and the woman had no reason as to why our trash didn't get picked up. So it's still sitting out there and we have more that needs to go.
