The bad news is, I wasn't able to collect the reward points due to booking directly with the hotel, as the hotels and third-party sites are not integrated in that regard. Good news is I'm ecstatic to share that the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bryant - Benton service rep worked above my satisfaction. They were extremely helpful in providing me with a room and with my preferred accommodation for the night. As for the rooms, it was very hot in Arkansas around this time with temperatures north of triple digits, but the AC was very efficient in cooling the space and providing comfort. In my experience with extreme temperatures, the AC struggles to maintain a steady flow of moderate temperature, but not this establishment. They do have a complimentary breakfast that's above average in quality, offering two types of omelettes, yogurt, fruit, juices, waffles, and cereals. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The check-out procedure is simply insert room key cards in the dropbox and carry on with your future endeavors. Although I only spent about 12 hours in this hotel, I was very pleased with my experience.

So, we left a review on Priceline saying it was bed bugs there. But the staff assured us they looked and it wasn't. They were kind and sweet and took pride in their hotel. They invited us back to check ourselves, and we only found 4 dead ants behind the bed on the trimming which can happen at any hotel. I tried to get Priceline to remove the review and they said they couldn't. I just wanted to make this comment here saying the hotel wasn't bad and the staff was very nice. They gave us 50 percent off for our troubles with everything even though they didn't have to. Priceline, you should be able to delete a review upon request of the person who made it. I'm sorry, country inn. I hope this review helps. I tried my best to get the other review taken down. Thank you for being kind and treating us with respect. The staff was excellent. Friendly, helpful and always a smile. It's a shame the owner doesn't step up their game. Oh, the walls were terribly thin. Noise from the next room was intruding. Traffic from restaurant drive thought was disturbing. Seems like folks who own pickups like to rev the engine to prove how macho they are. We'll try a different stop in our way home.

I calmly asked for clarification because the information I had received did not match what was showing on my reservation. Rather than reviewing the details or explaining the situation, the employee sighed, rolled their eyes, and said I was "making this more complicated than it needed to be." I was never given a clear explanation, an alternative solution, or any indication that the employee was interested in resolving the problem. What made the interaction especially frustrating was the dismissive way I was treated throughout the conversation. I was not asking for special treatment--only basic assistance and a respectful explanation. After several minutes, I asked whether a manager was available, and the employee's attitude became even more defensive. They told me that speaking with someone else would not change anything and implied that I was wasting their time. I understand that working at a hotel front desk can be stressful, but that does not excuse speaking to guests in a condescending or hostile manner. A basic level of courtesy, patience, and professionalism should be the minimum, especially at a Hilton property. I normally do not take the time to leave negative reviews about individual employees, but this interaction was bad enough that I feel management should be aware of it. I sincerely hope Hilton reviews what happened and addresses how guests are being treated at this property, because this experience was nowhere near the level of service I expected.
