After spending 4 nights in a horrible No-tel, we stopped here on our way home. The lobby is beautiful, complimentary breakfast excellent, and our room on the 3rd floor was completely remodeled--clean, crisp, and functional! Beautiful, non-cluttered, mattress and pillows were perfect, has a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, walk-in shower, hand soap mounted on the wall, and the carpet is new. The tv is a pretty big one, too. There is a small shelf on BOTH sides of the bed with outlets and USB access. By all means, stay here if given the opportunity. Any part of the facility we saw was sooo clean. Forgive the messy bed in the room pictures.

We've been coming to this hotel for years when we visit family from out of state. I'm partial to Hampton hotels but I typically go in unbiased when factoring in my reviews. Staff is pretty friendly. Other than check in I only had two other staff encounters. One was when I took my kids down to swim and we realized we were a few minutes too early (pool hours hadn't technically started yet) and a maintenance worker let us go in. I'm sure it was the four eager kids, batting their eyes at him but we really appreciated his help. The other encounter was at breakfast. There wasn't any staff working in the breakfast area but the kitchen door was open and two ladies were talking while we fished out our breakfast. I was looking for something and one of the ladies popped her head out and pointed to what I was looking for and went back to talking. She was friendly about it though. Rooms were fairly spacious. We had adjoining rooms. Both bathrooms were HUGE. Beds were pretty comfortable. We kept noticing a smell like someone had smoked in the room before. Also one of the lights kept flickering in the room. If it weren't for the smell, this hotel would definitely have five stars from me.

Nice power block, but only on one nightstand

My wife and I were looking forward to our stay here after reading the reviews. Number 2 Hampton Inn in the country, we read in one spot. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. There's a couple of things that were minor annoyances, but I don't think would bother the average Joe. When we arrived, it was a torrential downpour. When I say torrential, the interstate was flooding on the way in and locals were checking into the hotel due to power outages. The hotel's computers had been knocked offline due to a brief outage and they were working feverishly to bring them back online. Despite that setback, they were able to get us check in quickly. We had booked a king room, and our room was ready when we arrived. Everything was clean and squared away. You've got the usual amenities of in room fridge, coffeemaker, microwave as well as both wifi and wired internet access. The AC worked very well (we like it cold) and the room even had a ceiling fan! The bathroom was spacious and instead of a tub/shower combo, it had a huge shower with sliding doors big enough for two people. No cracking your elbow reaching for the shampoo in this one! The bed, while not great, was better than most hotel beds I've slept on. My wife and I never do well on hotel beds and usually wake up the next morning barely able to move. This bed didn't leave us in such bad shape, so that was a plus. One thing that was somewhat annoying was the lack of plugs in the places you need them. One side of the bed had a power block mounted to the nightstand with both extra power outlets as well as USB charging ports for electronic devices. Unfortunately, the other side didn't have one, nor extra outlets on the base of the lamp. If you need an outlet, you're pulling the nightstand out and deciding to unplug either the lamp or alarm clock. Not a big deal unless you have two people with CPAP's or some other need for outlets on both sides of the bed. On the subject of outlets, we had brought a Fire TV stick to plug into the TV, but there wasn't an available outlet near the TV to plug it in for power. I had thought ahead to bring an extension cord, but even that wasn't long enough to reach all the way to the nearest outlet. Bummer. The hotel provides a complimentary hot breakfast, and it is top notch. Scrambled eggs, turkey links, oatmeal and waffles were the options as well as yogurt, cereals and pastries. The food was fresh, tasted great and was the perfect start to the day.

This hotel is/was perfect. The beds are super comfortable and the bathroom and room was very clean.

This was right when I walked in so I hadn't even gotten the chance to get my hair in the sink. Secondly, I barely slept. There were at least three times someone tried to use a card to get in my room. I had dead-bolted the lock and thankfully their card didn't work but how is no one checking the halls at night? I felt so unsafe and grossed out. Also, bad breakfast and very loud people. For $130 per night, take your money elsewhere. I've paid far less for hotels and had way better experiences.

So, we left a review on Priceline saying it was bed bugs there. But the staff assured us they looked and it wasn't. They were kind and sweet and took pride in their hotel. I tried to get Priceline to remove the review and they said they couldn't. I just wanted to make this comment here saying the hotel wasn't bad and the staff was very nice. They gave us 50 percent off for our troubles with everything even though they didn't have to. Priceline, you should be able to delete a review upon request of the person who made it. I'm sorry, country inn. I hope this review helps. I tried my best to get the other review taken down. Thank you for being kind and treating us with respect. We made that review before checking the room ourselves. Definitely a great deal for a place to stay.

But we traveled with a pet, so maybe they stuck us in a room they hadn't addressed. The doors were a disgrace. The carpets were worn and torn. On a plus side, plenty of hot water. But the towels were thin and coarse. "Breakfast" is a challenge these days, so this Super 8 has a bowl of granola bars, with apple & orange juice and horribly weak coffee. Well, they tried. The staff was excellent. Friendly, helpful and always a smile. It's a shame the owner doesn't step up their game. Oh, the walls were terribly thin. Noise from the next room was intruding. Traffic from restaurant drive thought was disturbing. Seems like folks who own pickups like to rev the engine to prove how macho they are. We'll try a different stop in our way home.

We got to our room and something had happened - the door was open and there were fans running to dry the carpet. Kim moved us a room over and got us a new key card. The hotel just got new room locks and they're mystical. I closed loud door and couldn't get back in. Kim came over and showed us how to hold the card and to turn the handle even though there's no light, tone or even "click" indicating unlock. The room was nice, comfortable bed and TONS of pillows. Cold fridge with a freezer. TV was weird - average size, however picture was about 2" from the perimeter. ??? Night parking lot lighting is PHENOMENAL. I had zero concerns for our bikes (but I still checked them 4 times throughout the night, because, OUR BIKES!) When I picked this property I selected a more expensive location because we're on the road, on motorcycles, and I want a Wyndham breakfast so we can roll out quickly. This property? I don't even know what to call this breakfast. The options? Coffee or tea and granola bars. I'm not kidding. Not even cereal. News flash to the stingy owners - COVID is OVER. For $86 a night a full Wyndham breakfast is in order. Oh, and GOOD coffee. What you're serving is worse than Army, like brown water. NASTY. Room was nice, Kim was AMAZING and seriously needs a RAISE because retaining an employee like her is WORTH IT, nice, well lit parking lot, ZERO breakfast.

This was my first time staying at Tru LRW and it was decent about 80% of the time. I arrived pretty late, because I paid online check in was fast and easy. The $75 incidental hold seemed high but it's just a hold. When I entered my room around 1130pm it was 55°. I went back downstairs and asked for a new one and the receptionist couldn't say if the next room would be any warmer- I took the risk and was happy to see 65°. I stayed a total of 3 nights, I noticed housekeeping didn't come so on night two I asked the front desk if I needed to request it. The woman working said no- they come everyday. I can confirm that didn't happen. When I asked if everyone knew I moved rooms she basically laughed at me and said it's in the system so everyone knows... okay so why didn't housekeeping come. She asked if I needed it, which again why are you confirming if they come everyday? Anyways, they came once during my three night stay. The room itself was a king room, I liked the brand of lotion/shampoo and the bed was comfortable. The walls are thin, I could hear the tv in the room next to me and a dog barking. Room had some paint chips missing but overall an 8/10. Breakfast changing every day, but always some sort of pancakes (DIY) and eggs and meat. Would I stay again? Yes. It's a good location, which is some times hard to find on this side of Little Rock. Tru is not your standard Hilton, but if you go with accurate expectations you'll be fine.

Dec 29th. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays. No cheerful greetings at the front…read moredesk. I went up to my room to start unpacking my toiletries and food and drinks for the refrigerator. Just before 6:30 PM I did read the paper about the holiday hours and saw that there was a manager's reception that ended at 6:30 so I missed out. I was there in time to get a complementary cocktail and nosh on their snacks. Not a problem because I was hungry, and I was going to go downstairs to order a burger to bring back up to my room. When I tried to lock the door as I was leaving my room, the door would not lock. I went back inside of the room and pushed on the door to see if it would snap and lock and it would not. So I went downstairs to pick up my burger that I ordered with no onion. (Yeah, they put onion on it...... she even repeated my order to me and said no onion). I got my burger and stopped at the front desk to inform her about my key and ask if maintenance was on the premises. She stated that they did not have a maintenance person. I explained to her that right now all of my valuables are upstairs in the room and I can't lock the door so she gave me another room and changed my key. I went upstairs and tried the door that she was moving me to, and it did not unlock. So I went to my unlocked room and called downstairs to tell her that the key did not work and I was going to try to eat some of my food before it gets cold and she hung up while I was still talking. Now I am a bit peeved because I can't enjoy my food and I need to pack all my stuff up again and move to another room. I was pressed for time so I did not eat my food. I needed to get my room situation fixed first. I went back downstairs to exchange the key AGAIN! I did not get an apology or anything, and I started to ask her if she realized she hung up in my face but being tired from my flight and Hangry I thought it would be best just to get the key and start moving my room. Once again, I went upstairs and the key that she gave me still did not work; and my other room is still unlocked with my valuables in it. I went back to my unlocked room and packed everything and put it in the closet and the refrigerator and went back downstairs AGAIN! The woman at the desk was helping other people so I stood back and waited. Another employee was coming in and she asked if she could help me. The girl that originally helped me was on the phone with someone and she was getting short patient with the people on the phone. She got off the phone and explained to the other employee what was going on with my key and said that they would have to manually let me in. I followed the other employee up to my room and I showed her what was going on with my first room and the room that I was moving to and she was very apologetic and hospitable as well as offered to help me move my room. I thanked her very much and explained to her that this was the first hospitality and apology that I was receiving since I got here. And that I greatly appreciated her compassion and assistance. I went to bed and heard a knock at the door. I can see that it was the lady that was behind the bar with a bag. I thought maybe they felt sorry for me having a cold burger and fries that I couldn't , and was bringing up a hospitality package or something. Nope, she said "Oh, I'm at the wrong door"! I dragged myself back to my bed. After all I've gone through, you would think they would have credit me for my cold burger and fries. And with having to change my room, they billed us twice for the room! The room that I was moved to did not have central air like the other room did, it had a loud swamp cooler and mold in the shower, but the bed looked clean and it did not have bad smells. The shower water pressure was very low. The bed was very comfortable. And the drains did not have bad smells. The toilet was very low to the floor. I did come down the next day to ask if the complementary water was two bottles a day and she said no, it was only the two bottles at check-in. I asked even if you are a Hilton Honors member you do not get free water daily? She said "No". This was a first for me. I purchased 2 bottles and asked her to bill it to my room. So I am just standing there waiting for a response or reply and her head is still down doing something and then she looks at me and says. "I did it, you're done" (like why are you still standing there? You can go now.!) No communication. No thank yous. No Happy New Years. No apologies....... I'm thinking that this girl must be employed by a relative. Not Hilton worthy. The personality of a sloth. If I have to come back out here, I will try the Embassey Suites, but I will not stay here again. It's not a bad place especially for the price. It was bad customer service and unfortunately, I had a stay from hell trying to get settled.
