Dr. Malik has been a large part of my success thus far in my medical education. The way he analyzes questions and helps you not only understand the big picture but also minor details that can be easily missed, is a tremendous eye opener. When I asked for Dr. Malik's help, I was studying for my COMP exam and then the USMLE step one (February 2020). And believe me when I say, I was LOST. I had no idea what I should be doing, I was using a boat load of resources, with no clear plan on how to get to the score I wanted. Dr. Malik and I have been working together (with the exception of my MBA year) for 18 months. I came to him after a low Step 1 score, and over the course of about 9 months, he helped me improve my score by 33 points. This has put me in position to realistically compete for some of the more exclusive specialties to get into, and has made my trip through fourth year a lot more pleasant. He is a DELIGHT to work with- great sense of humor, genuine interest in his students (even if they're wound up and a bit obsessive- kind of like med students are), and the patience to make sure you get the critical concepts down in order to maximize your scores. I very much want to express my gratitude to Dr. Malik for all he did to help me and guide me through the process of preparing for and passing my Step 1. I had been studying for Step 1 for about a year, while simultaneously doing clinical rotations and had not managed to get an NBME score above 188 (Step 1 equivalent) and within 3 weeks of working daily with Dr. Malik I was able to increase my score to passing with an NBME score of 215. Within another 3 weeks of intensive all day studying and questions review with Dr. Malik's guidance and tutoring, I was able to increase another 10-13 points on my final NBMEs, to a 228. At this time I took my Step 1 USMLE and 3 weeks later found out I received a score of 233. I am extremely pleased and I couldn't have done it without Dr. Malik's support and coaching. I want to thank Dr. Malik for helping me to pass Step 3 exam with good score. I tried twice and failed , so after reading two times MTB and doing UWORLD 2 times as well , contacted Dr. Malik. What I can not say about Dr. Malik? He is extremely knowledgable person and articulates pretty well basic science concepts with clinical ones. Im one of the students that finished medical school more than 20 years ago and never had biostatistics course and only basic immunology. He taught me BIO from starch in an extremely easy way.
