Small town bakeshops sometimes get plus points for their quaintness, coziness, and aw-shucks…read moreatmosphere. Henrietta doesn't need these plus points because OMG are their pastries heavenly. We got stuff they are known for, and even with the heightened expectations, still came away completely in love. - Sticky Buns: May just be the best one I've had. It's really soft and moist, not sickeningly sweet, and a great value for its size and amazing taste. A definite winner. - Muskoka Cloud: I get why this is named a cloud. It's airy yet meaningful, almost like a soft and tender scone. And again, sweetness level is to perfection. - Nanaimo Bar: A bit too creamy for me, but I loved how strong the coconut taste was. Be prepared to line up and wait when you pass by Henrietta. The good thing? The lines are made up not just by tourists, but locals who stop by and wait to get their treats. Small town charm? Sure. But if locals lineup for something, you know it's good!

The berry scone was amazing as well. I wished the tea place we went to the day before in Gravenhurst (Blue Willow Tea Shop) made their scones as good as this. Farmer's Daughter's scones were sweet and didn't need jam. The chocolate chip cookies were fantastic as well. I liked the husband's edamame avocado bean salad. The son got a pasta combo for $18.99. I really liked his mac and cheese; the pasta salad was fine. I wasn't a fan of his peanut butter chocolate chip cookie (too much pb, not enough choc) The daughter really liked her potatoes dauphinois. Her side of roasted cauliflower, mushrooms, and broccoli were fine, but the pierogies were exceptional. This place drains your wallet little by little. I suggested it because I thought it would make sense to have a cheaper lunch but I'm not sure it was. Especially by the time we got dessert. (But it was worth it!) The next day the husband and I had the lentil wrap - he ordered it the first day and was a fan. It was kind of like Amy's brand of samosas but better and fresh. It definitely grows on you. The daughter was not as into her chicken with cornflake breading. The son got the lasagna but thought the previous day's mac n cheese was better.

It was not quite where I want a 4 rating to be for customer service. The food was solid, but the cost didn't quite match the delivery. We may have hit them on a bad day, don't know. It does seem to be popular with the town's people - lots of people visiting at other tables for a quick chat, which is nice to see.

This is such a charming little restaurant, and we had an excellent brunch. Even though they were absolutely packed, the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, especially when it came to our two little dogs. We were the only ones sitting on the patio, and although it was lightly raining, that didn't stop the great service or delicious food. I started with a Pineapple Juice Mimosa, which I absolutely loved. My wife's latte was probably the one average part of the meal, but thankfully, everything else was fantastic. I ordered the Meat Lovers Hash, and it was so good! Hearty, flavourful, and exactly what I want from a brunch hash. My wife ordered the Smoked Salmon Benny, and she absolutely loved it. The Hollandaise sauce was especially delicious, and the eggs were cooked beautifully. Between the excellent food, friendly service, charming atmosphere, and how welcoming they were to us and our dogs, we really enjoyed our visit. The lineup is definitely justified! We stopped at this Huntsville location on the way home from Algonquin Park as the Dwight location didn't have the pie I wanted. Our friend reassured us that we made a huge mistake. We had to go back and give it a shot. We stopped in for lunch (we heard line ups at dinner are huge) - I ordered the ravioli special of the day and my fiancée ordered a lunch salad. The ravioli was incredible. It was laden with beef tenderloin and veggies galore in a rose sauce that I had to dip my bread in to sop up all of the pieces. My fiancées salad was equally insane. It was almost like a pasta sauce on a hearty garden salad that was very tasty. The meals leave you more than satisfied. The pasta doesn't leave you with that heavy pasta dinner feeling with the good mix of veggies that came with the pasta and the salad feeling like you should have ordered a pasta if you ordered the salad with the hearty meat and appropriate level of dressing on it. We topped it off with the pecan flan which is best described as a pecan pie. Not house made but sooo good. We're coming back tomorrow with the kids. Seriously.
