Butter Tart and Coconut Macroon!
Nobu W.

Lovely little spot up here. Everything appears fresh and homemade. Attached is a picture of the best butter tart I have yet to try (without pecans, which remain my davoueite). Perfectly balance between chew and a little crunch; not overly sweet either! Coffee not included but take these to go and enjoy later in the day! Great stop, especially in the morning, to get the freshest, best selection.

Yummy sticky buns!

Awesome bakery in Dwight! Their breads are amazing. Their German raisin bread on Sunday is incredible, melt in your mouth morning treat. Their Algonquin bread is just amazing. I had a colleague in town and he couldn't get over how good it was. Outside of their breads, the sticky buns are great, cherry danishes too! I'm sure there will be lots to tempt you. Can't go wrong with their breads. They meat pies are also awesome!

Rhubarb coffee cake pie - amazingly good
Mark H.

This is a phenomenal little bake shop in Dwight that is a bee hive of activity; especially on long weekends and holidays. Their chocolate croissants and apple strudel are much better than my will power but it is there strawberry-rhubarb coffee cake that knocks everything else out. I am generally not a fan of baked goods but this is an exception and an exceptional treat. Take note that while there is a dizzying array of options when it is busy, many items go fast and aren't available. The stuff long runs and county hills were made for.

A special selection of baked goods for Valentine's Day.

Best bakery for 200 miles. If in the area (or not) no need to look further as it doesn't get better. Sweets and Savouries, thumbs up!

The baguette was dreamy - light as a feather and sturdy at the same time, the perfect foil for an afternoon steak sandwich. The streudels - oh dear lord, were they heavenly. Don't choose between the ones with cream cheese and the standard fruit varieties, just get both. The butter tarts. Dear HEAVENS the butter tarts. Were they ever incredible. We have two gorgeous pies awaiting a visit to friends tomorrow and more treats for breakfast tomorrow. This is a destination bakery worth traveling for if you are in the Lake of Bays area. You won't find anything fresher with more variety and more delightful than this one. Just don't be impatient: you and everyone else will need loads of time to pick it all out!

This location is the newer of the two locations, and accommodates larger parties than the original Dwight location. Locals and tourists come here for the great selection of bread, sticky buns, cookies, and other baked goods. They also have a great selection of beverages including coffees and teas. We stopped at this Huntsville location on the way home from Algonquin Park as the Dwight location didn't have the pie I wanted. It turns out their apple pie is hugely popular as it was sold out at this store too. Staff were friendly and helpful, and suggested calling ahead or pre-ordering the apple pie as options in the future. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area.
