What was an incredibly stressful and overwhelming situation was made so much easier because I knew I had someone knowledgeable and dependable handling everything. A very special thank you to Meredith, who truly went above and beyond for me throughout the entire process. He took care of so many details that I wouldn't have even known where to begin with--from documenting and reporting everything needed for the insurance company, to organizing the mitigation work, protecting and preserving as many of my belongings as possible, and giving us great advice along the way. What meant the most was knowing that he genuinely cared about helping us through the situation, not just completing a job. He kept me informed, answered my questions, and gave me peace of mind during a very difficult and stressful time. I am incredibly grateful for Meredith and his entire team and would absolutely recommend this company to anyone dealing with water damage or needing mitigation services. When something like this happens to your home, having someone you can trust makes all the difference. Thank you for taking such good care of us and our home!

I would highly recommend Jacobs Ladder for your roofing needs…read more Hugh Johnson, the owner, is the ultimate professional and was so helpful in helping me understand the roofing and pricing process. I was also looking to replace gutters, and he advised me that all of the gutters did not need replacing, which of course saved me money. All the other contractors, just quoted me a full set of gutters. His work crew was awesome. They came on time, worked all day (finished in one day) and totally cleaned up the mess at the end of the day. I was also very pleased with his pricing. All in all, a great company!

Three weeks ago Jacob's Ladder came to my property for an estimate. I explained that getting the…read moreestimate was time sensitive, and the reasons thereof. They said they would not be able to start the project for about 3 months and I said that would be perfect timing; I only needed an estimate within a week. I told them I would be cancelling my original estimate since they came over so quickly, so I would really need their estimate. I have called them over half a dozen times and left messages with no response. Since there have been issues with phone service for the past 3 weeks, understandably there was a good possibility that they never even received my messages. Today, three weeks later, I again called the main number and texted the man who did the estimate. When I still received no answer, I called their emergency line explaining that although this is not an emergency, I thought that maybe they did not receive my previous messages and could she please relay the message. I went so far as to say that I know this is not an emergency as I am a RN and it's not life or death, but again, no one has returned a call or message in 3 weeks so perhaps they did not receive my previous messages. That said, I received a very nasty text from them saying that it was very offensive to them to inquire on their "emergency line" (the only line where someone answers the phone) that I expect a phone call back after 3 weeks of them doing the initial estimate and how "Christian" they are! So let me respond from the Bible, Proverbs 15:1: "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Christian IS as Christian DOES. I would not recommend this company.

Very pleased and will use them again in the future for all our carpet cleaning needs.

Spotless charged $5800 not covered by the insurance after the work was completed. I would highly recommend finding a more reputable company to do business with. In addition to deceptive business practices related to billing, they also misrepresented that they were an approved vendor by our insurance company. After having these issues, we discovered that not only are they not an approved vendor, but the adjuster indicated that he had other customers who had these same issues. I found similar issues for Spotless reported to the Better Business Bureau. I recommend finding another company with a commitment to honesty to do business with.
