This is their meat, lover calzone, but in fairness, I only requested pepperoni and sausage.

I ordered a calzone with sausage and pepperoni in it and when I tell you, there was almost 0 meat in it I am not kidding. I paid over $19 for this and I'm beyond disappointed.

Ok I've tried most pizza places and I think this one is possibly the best. The cheese pizza was a perfect balance of sauce to cheese to crust. You can actually taste the tomato in the sauce. The white pizza was a bit disappointing to be honest. Just not that much flavor. Wouldn't get it again. But their red sauce pizzas? Definitely!

Customer service was great. The ambiance was very classy and reminds me of Italy and food was delicious.

Updating my review for this one. Dined in last night and had the pleasure of being served by Olivia, who was easy to converse with and added to our experience. She upsold us from the large to XL (family sized) pizza which was such a good idea for only a dollar more. Cabernet by the glass was only $6. Unlike my previous review, the pizza came out piping hot and delicious! There was plenty left over for lunch this week. My toddler rarely eats pizza and this time he finally did!,Will definitely return with my twodler for many pizza nights!

Really?? $18+ for this??? Ugh!!!

So disappointed. The pizza was just OK. Ordered the Calamari for $18 it was tough and a very small portion!!

There was a cute girl taking orders at the counter. That's always good(they have higher standards). The picture is mid but the food was delish.

I am beyond disappointed. It pains me to leave this review. We ordered from Uber Eats. The place is literally down the street from our house. It's my husbands birthday so I strong armed him in to ordering pizza from Uber Eats. I ordered our usual. 16' meat feast pizza. No meatballs. Extra pepperoni. Light sauce and well done. The very same thing we order when we physically go there. I then asked for Parmesan cheese and crushed peppers on the side. Nothing about our pizza was right. We paid $32 for the pizza and Uber Eats charge only to be left disappointed. The pizza itself was lukewarm. My husband is not happy. I use Uber Eats at work. Always a great experience. Food is always how I order it and is hot. This pizza experience was not good at all. So beware. 4-11-2020: awesome Yelp Event. With Yelps Big Nite In we decided to use DoorDash and order pizza. It came within 35 min. Nice and hot. We are super happy and enjoying our pizza. This made up for our last experience with UberEats. So big ups to DoorDash. We are happy.

I have come to accept that Best NY Pizza is our go-to sit down pizza restaurant on Friday nights with the kids. The restaurant is typically clean and we are always seated quickly. The staff has always been friendly and the quality of the food is better than their nearby competitors, so we keep coming back. That being said, there is some room for improvement. On our most recent visit, the dozen garlic knots that we ordered were served cold, which was a disappointment. I was not keen on their beer selection, so I opted for an unusual change (for me). Sangria. My expectation was a fruity cocktail in an oversized glass that I could sip on during the course of dinner. What was delivered was a dirty wineglass with no fruit and some cheap sangria from the ABC store next door. I will say that the pizza was 100% on point, hot and delicious when it arrived at our table. Even with my four star rating, Best NY Pizza does have the best tasting pie going in Carrollwood for sit-down family-style pizza. For Best NY Pizza to gain 5 stars (again for me), the following had to happen... · Stop serving Pepsi products. Yuck! · Update the Trivial Pursuit questions that are at the tables to be more current.

If you're visiting Tampa, this place should be on your list to visit. If you love NY Pizza, you will love Eddie and Sam's. Aside from their popular pizzas, they serve wings, cheese mozzarella sticks, salads, fries, desserts and so much more. Either eat by the slice or feed your face with a huge pizza pie, you will love it.

After finally trying it, I honestly do not understand the hype. I was born and raised in New York for over 40 years and have eaten pizza all over the state. This is nowhere close to New York style pizza. I have never tasted or even seen a pizza like this from NY. The closest comparison I can make is a random pizza spot I tried once in Washington DC. The crust is massive, and if you look at my pizza or almost any photo posted here, you will notice the same thing. The bottom was not charred enough to give it any real crisp, and the dough itself was very dry with a strange baked texture that did not resemble traditional pizza dough at all. There is also a heavy amount of cheese, which overpowers everything else. The sauce was decent at first and they are generous with it, but I kept getting hints of olive flavor. Unfortunately, I hate olives, and I do not understand why olive flavor would be in the sauce unless olives were requested as a topping. As for the atmosphere, the place was extremely busy due to the surrounding nightlife scene. It was very loud inside, making it hard to have a conversation, and the constant crowd added to the chaos. Parking was also difficult and required some patience just to find a spot nearby. Overall, the pizza is decent, but it is nowhere near New York pizza and certainly not deserving of its top rated reputation. In my opinion, this place is good, but its not great. Heavily overhyped and overrated by people who may not know what real NY pizza tastes like.

Besides that, the pies are always on point. The slices that are in the window ready to go, always deliver. This place takes the crown. I was first introduced via a friend after a day on the lake (terrified of water sports so this made it worth it) preordered on the phone, everything was ready when I showed up and it was an in and out operation 10/10. My go to's BBQ chicken, Pep and the chicken Vodka. The verity and depth of their bag at Santoro's is crazy. They don't miss. I have brought so many people here for the taste, quality and easy of access. I was here before Dave Portnoy and I have lived through the hectic times after Dave (A.D. - after Dave) and they still show up week in and week out. Thanks for holding it down for so many years. A friend had clued me in that this was the best pizza that Tampa had to offer, so a group of us who either currently live in or formerly lived in NJ went to try it out to see if it measures up. The place gives off old school vibes, with plenty of New York sports pictures, jerseys, and memorabilia up on the walls, as well as having that distinct smell of a proper NJ area pizzeria that sets your expectations pretty high. We wanted to try out a variety of items, so we started off with the mozzarella sticks and garlic knots. The mozzarella sticks (3/5) were forgettably average, with minimal taste in the breading and served up with an underwhelming tomato sauce (wasn't a proper marinara sauce). The garlic knots (4.5/5) were highly impressive, served piping hot in a very unique pull-apart portion. It was delicious and the texture of it was just right, though one minor critique was that the accompanying sauce was more butter with a lesser garlic taste than I'm used to (more emphasis on olive oil & garlic, and less emphasis on butter back home in NJ). The pizza (3.75/5) was probably one of the best I've had in the state of Florida, with a combination of good tasting crust, sauce, and cheese reminiscent of flavors of a proper Jersey pizzeria. The base was cooked to perfection, and we were happy to have tried it out shortly after it came out of the oven. While there was a touch of excess oil on the pizza surface and it would get lost in mediocrity if it was served up in NJ, I found it highly impressive for Florida pizza, as it sure to satisfy any pizza craving. Service (5/5) was excellent from staff checking in on customers regularly with an enthusiastic and helpful energy. Santoro's Pizzeria is a spot I would return to, and would recommend them to others looking for quality pizza (and garlic knots) in Tampa.

I finally got the chance to check out Lees Grocery for a superbowl dinner and will definitely be returning. The atmosphere was very laid back and although it was pretty empty when we went, I can imagine it's a fun spot when it's more busy. The inside is smaller than I anticipated it to be, but I enjoyed it. Made it seem homier. I was surprised to see the large outdoor seating area, which seems great for larger groups! Food: The wings are absolutely amazing. We ordered the 10 wings, plain, with hot and mild sauce and blue cheese on the side. The wings were so perfectly seasoned and almost reminded me of the wings on a rotisserie chicken, nicely smoked. We also got a plain cheese pizza pie, 18''. It came out fresh, hot, and the cheese and sauce had great flavor. It does have a thicker chewier crust. Parmesan cheese, oregano, red pepper, and garlic powder are available to add on top. There were a lot of fun pizza options/ combos and we'll be back to try the more interesting flavors. I'm also interested in trying the garlic parmesan wings. The nice thing about smaller joints like this is that the food comes out quick and so fresh! No food is sitting around when the kitchen is so close to the main dining area. Drinks: They have such a large variey of canned craft beers, ipa's, seltzers, and even non-alcoholic beers. There were also 6 different draft beers. I sipped on some Surfside's, while my boyfriend enjoyed the Tampa Export gold lager. It was a very light and crisp beer. I really appreciated how welcoming and approachable the staff was. The atmosphere felt comfortable and family-like, and I loved that they don't hold back on the toppings. The flavor combination of how all the different toppings work together was even more enjoyable than the pizza underneath it for me personally. For this style of pizza, I'd definitely recommend getting something with sausage. The sausage was easily the best part for me, and this style of pizza really complemented the sausage they used. The crust had a little bit of a spongy texture which makes it a very filling pizza.

I'm glad that more people showed up, because this is a great spot. Service was really attentive and she checked in on us a good amount of time. Future Christina, your older son will eat the garlic knots, which were actually delicious. It says they are homemade and I also could not stop eating one, and I generally avoid carbs. He did not eat a lot of of the pepperoni pizza he wanted, they do not have a kids menu, but if you ask, there are things they can make kid sizes like the pasta. The personal pizza is the smallest they go. I got eight wings with a side of fries, because my son also wanted fries. He did eat a good amount of the fries, so next time I think I would just get him garlic knots and fries. I'm on a high protein diet, so the wings were great. I got the garlic Parmesan sauce on the side and a side of blue cheese. The garlic Parmesan was OK, but the blue cheese was delicious, I would definitely get it again. My dad got a pepperoni pizza and said it was quite crispy, he liked it. Overall, I enjoyed our meal here and I would definitely come back.
