I also did NOT like how they added a $9 tip automatically to our already $60 balance. YES a $9 fee that we didn't know they automatically added!! AND this didn't happen to just us, we had two other sets of friends that we sent the link to purchase VIP and it did the same to them and they also paid without noticing!! They have a very well-curated museum with century homes throughout the property, including the old print shop, railway depot, a conductor's house, a church and more. Beautiful grounds. Keep your hands and feet to yourself as you walk the path. It's starts with the breath of the old west. What did a young Las Vegas and Boulder City actually look like. Most of the history here are actual. Some are replicated by certain types of groups to aid in keeping the history alive. As you move on you can actually walk through the exhibits. The history of each era is shown in houses by the "Main Street," exhibits. It's too cool ! This is the way to see a little piece of history. That old chapel was saved and has married so many individuals. Come and see our historical past in photos. The artifacts of the era are here too.

Traffic was terrible, and the parking situation felt very disorganized. It wasn't clear where people were supposed to go, and some attendees left frustrated before even getting inside. Once inside, we found the building to be extremely cold, which took away from the comfort of the experience. We also had some difficulty getting clear directions from staff regarding the exits. There are many exits throughout the venue, but some of the staff members we asked didn't seem to know where they were located. Overall, we enjoyed the show, but the traffic, parking, temperature, and lack of clear information from staff made the evening more stressful than it needed to be. Hopefully, the venue can improve these areas because the entertainment itself was well worth seeing.

Fans of the show "Pit Boss" even got to meet the Pit Boss himself and there were also obidnence training tips offered on the side stage and exhibitons throughout the day. After watching some dogs go through the training course with their master, we got to try our luck with Dolce. We paid a $2 donation and we guided him through each task. Once I got his attention with a treat, he went through the jumps and the tunnels pretty easily. The see saw was the most difficult task, but he met me at the end with his hard earned treat after jumping through the last hoop. We coudn't get more than a hundred feet at a time without being stopped by women, children, and men asking to pet or have a photo with the birthday boy! A handful of people and even other Pomeranian owners claimed Dolce to be the cutest dog in the entire expo so that was something to definitely be proud of....ALOHA!!! The Science Festival takes place over several days (9 in 2015) with events taking place all the way from the Colorado river to Red Rock Conservation area and many places in between. There were a total of 42 events that took place all dedicated to teaching and gaining interest of children in Science. What is really great is that all 42 events were free to children and families. Amazing! The finale of the Science Festival took place at the Cashman Convention Center. This was a great end to several days of science fun. They had well over 100 booths and activites for kids to explore. There were a few food vendors as well to help satisfy the kiddos hunger while they explored everything from National Parks to Shark Reef exhibits. Thanks to all the Organizers and volunteers who made this event possible for everyone in the Vegas valley. Our family looks forward to attending this event for many years to come.

You just need to buy them at the depot. You actually get a paper ticket too . The train ride lasts about thirty minutes and it's takes you about three miles from the station platform to Railroad Pass Casino. Then it returns to the Platform. In between the wait for the train you can wander the platform and see all sorts of interesting trains from all around the world. This is a great way to spend an afternoon. Get out and see some amazing views of trains. Be a kid again!

For fast route, use Parking Garage 2 and park on the 3rd level, it leads straight to the walkway entrance. While visiting, I noticed people lining up in front of the waterfall. I walked up to a staff member named Richard, he says a laser light show was about to start in 3 minutes. Richard mentioned the best view is right from the middle. I actually ended up watching it twice, the second time from the right side. It starts with a narrative about a magical waterfall: "It is said that the waters of Mystic Falls are enchanted and anyone who is touched by their spray is granted exceptional good luck and good fortune. The magical blessings of the falls are so abundant that each night they come to life, awakening the wonders of nature as they burst into the sky." Then, there's an 8-minute show with orchestral music, changing colors, water dancing and shooting high into the air, and laser graphics of butterflies and birds, very cool show and it's completely free! Show runs at 6pm, 8pm, and 10pm from Monday to Thursday. On weekends, Friday through Sunday, they add an earlier show at 4pm. Just a note, if you visit during the holidays, the show turns red, white, and blue with a patriotic laser theme on the weekend of July 4th. In December, they have a special Christmas show that starts the day after Thanksgiving and runs through New Year's Day. After the show, I wandered through Mystic Falls Park. They did an amazing job creating a beautiful indoor scenery and night lighting! The atrium feels like a magical forest, there's a pond, stream, and a bridge. It's filled with all kinds of plants, like bromeliads and these cool, fluffy trees that look like giant bonsais. Throughout my walk, I hear water features and various animal sounds like frogs and birds chirping on a continuous loop. There's even a few bench seats and a gazebo where you can sit, enjoy, take photos, and relax. It's truly awesome and the atmosphere is peaceful. If you're looking for something fun to do with the family, Mystic Falls Park is a great spot to visit!

There are showtimes listed on the Sam's Town website. But, the waterfalls are ongoing. Great for a picture taking, enjoy refreshing water and gazing into the sky... the casino rooms facing the atrium look down on the waterfalls, as well. Hmmm how do I say this, it was a little bit more crowded and I don't think there was a good flow. I think partially because they closed the back garden area down. They said it was because of the wind. They were probably write. Flow and crowd control is essential. Maybe next year it will be different. The clusters of people were because the tastings were moved to several inside spaces. You would think, "isn't that a good idea?!" In part it is because it shelters the individuals who are tasting, but the issue is they were not moving through the spaces fast enough causing huge clusters in the rooms. The rooms had four to six tastings, so that meant more. And more people congregating. In the garden area, they are spread out more, so the distance elevates the clustering. Again, not a show stopper. The music could have been better.

The MonteLago Village Beerfest by far is among the best beer festivals I've ever attended. Festival admission for GA is 3PM - 7PM ($35). The whole village is lined with beer tents. I love how spread out everything is. Nobody likes a cluster-fuck. Guests received a glass souvenir taster to sample the awesome beer available. There were local favorites like Hop Nuts, Aces and Ales, and Boulder Dam Brewing, but also breweries like Hop Valley from Oregon or Saint Archer from San Diego. There was so much beer even 4 hours wasn't enough to sample beer from every tent. This was a great beer festival with perfect weather and an awesome backdrop of the lake. 10/10 would recommend. I managed to spend eight hours there, finishing the evening with some margaritas and nachos at the Mexican restaurant nearby. The event benefits local radio station 91.5, I was actually able to get tickets as a part of their pledge drive, so this was a win win for me. The staff and volunteers were at the event and everyone had an opportunity to interact with them while enjoying some great music. Parking is really easy, the structure has ample number of shaded spots available; restrooms are easily accessible and very clean. Definitely looking forward to returning next year!
