Our journey…read moreto our weekend hit some bumps along the way and we must say - Lisa and Ump stepped right up, embraced us in open arms and with the best of hugs that only come from true love and passion for what they do! From our first phone call to our 3+ hour "quick meet and greet', to our wedding weekend was just the highlight and spark back into our celebration. When we initially started planning, we had a different caterer. 7 months in, we had no kind of menu, no communication and just felt unheard and unseen. Then the best thing happened! We got introduced to LJ's Catering. ONE PHONE CALL! That's all it took! 20 minutes of a late evening, and we were over the moon! The spark was back into our celebration. We had the menus pretty much decided - everything came together in just mere minutes! The hard part was, watching all the videos of food that were being sent to us that night and not being able to eat everything right then and there. The constant communication, the constant out pouring of love from LJs truly shined. Finally, our celebration time came! We started off the weekend with the Pig Roast BBQ - And brisket! Must have LJ's Brisket! Saturday, we had red snapper, jerk chicken and much more! Sunday morning was the perfect relax, chill, unwind and Brunch! Not only did their love shine through for us, the couple - but it flowed to every one of our guests! Everyone to this day continues to talk about the food, and LJs! Everything was truly amazing! In the moment, everything is flying, and time loses itself - however Lisa and Ump of course were watching and ensuring that we took the moment to sit down and eat! "Don't try to ignore them, it won't happen!" We can't say enough nice things about LJ's and their staff. We truly feel like they're now a part of our family! Truly a vendor to choose - watch as they continue to shine! With much love - Brent & Donnie

The food was "DEEE"licious and the staff was VERY nice. During brunch, even though they had already had a buffet spread ready to dig in, the made me special egg whites, love that they accommodated. And there was a special AVACADO request, that when I saw it...I WAS LIKE WOWWW...that when I got home to my avacados from Mexico I bought at Costco, had me reminiscing about that SPECIAL avacado and wishing I could have that perfect one. Again, the food, the service, the staff were GREAT! THANK YOU LJ's Catering!! I only wish you were here, in California for any special event we have.

The vision for the wedding was to be rustic eclectic. I shopped around for awhile and by far, Simple Rustic had the best prices around. Having our reception in a beer garden. The furniture completely transformed the area.... I was so happy with everything! If you are going for a beautiful rustic wedding.. this is the way to go! Not only do they have furniture, but they also do lighting and flowers! A one stop shop for a gorgeous rustic wedding or event. Antoni was very quick to respond to any questions, accommodating to any minor changes that I wanted to make to the order, and even gave very wonderful suggestions when we finalized out order. All correspondence was through email, I actually didn't get to see the furniture until the day of the wedding. I was extremely happy with the furniture and service. I was so happy to be able to meet Antoni in person when it was time to break down the furniture. I HIGHLY recommend renting from Simple Rustic. I definitely will be renting from Antoni again!

Was told that the arbor was rented "as pictured" on the website to keep the "structure secure." The arbor is fully assembled on their website. As I don't have time, nor personnel, nor ability to be putting this arbor together for the event, this was great! I signed a contract and placed a 50% deposit with Simple Rustic. Several months later (close to the wedding date!) I checked to make sure everything was still in 'place' for pickup of assembled arbor. However, now told that arbor would NOT be assembled, nor was it ever intended to be assembled! I was charged a 'warehouse prep fee' of $150 for what? Non-assembly? Now the vendor refuses to give me $174 deposit back! I've got emails backing up what was said, but Antoni at Simple Rustic doesn't care! Stay away from this vendor!! Renters beware!!

As for the wedding itself we had a couple curveballs thrown at us, like a Chinese Tea ceremony, a missing bridal veil, an impending rainstorm and a global pandemic. They handled everything brilliantly and were incredibly responsive with any last minute issues that we had. Even while trying to do massive amounts of work behind the scenes to keep our timeline on schedule they still took the time to remind us to enjoy the experience and helped us decompress. Our guests all had an amazing time and a huge portion of that is due to the amazing work that Tiffany and Kenny do. It's easy to see that they love what they do and are extremely passionate about putting together an amazing experience. They are very competitively priced but even despite that they will go above and beyond to help you out.
