I have used this service twice. Once from the airport to my apartment & once from the apartment to airport. Both were breeze rides. The cabs are gps equipped, so you just need to tell them the address & they will get there without any further directions. They also have square based credit card terminals that are easy to pay with. The driver was prompt both the times, reaching my apartment 10 mins before the scheduled pick up time. Would have given 5 stars if the cabs were a bit more cleaner & the dispatch more friendly. But all in all good timely service from point a to point b. read more

Kept putting me off, telling me 30 minutes and no show. I called said another 20 minutes, no show. Called again and told them I was on a time limit and was told driver was still on the same round trip call. So they weren't honest from the start. I canceled them and called a competitor who was prompt in getting me where I needed to be. I would never call best cabs again. read more

I had a 9:30 appointment to get a haircut. I booked a time with Best Cabs for an exact time and day I needed a 1.5-mile ride. They said it was taken care of. I was ready and waiting for them. No one showed up. I had to cancel my appointment. When I request a taxi, I expect them to be there. That's what they're for. I will not deal with them again and do not recommend them. Taxi service in this town used to be great. Now it is just lousy. I don't know how they stay in business. Their website does not work. They do not reply to email. I guess they're close to going out of business. read more

CAB Arrived 30 minutes late. I had called the afternoon before to make arrangements for pick up. Missed the 45 minute window for check in for my flight out of ICT Wichita airport. Now have 2.5 hours for next flight out. Will be on standby status for second leg of flight to Portland OR. read more

Cab did not show. I have missed my flight. I have incurred a $240 change flight fee. And, Best Cab is not answering my call. Take Uber! read more

Do not forget anything in this cab as you will never see it again. It is better & cheaper to use Uber..at least they have a lost item tool on their app. We only made a short trip of about 1 mile with this cab. read more

Certainly worthy of zero stars. Rude, Won't commit to a pickup time. Long Waits. Wait forever for them to pick up the phone. This is why uber exists. You would be better to crawl on your destination through broken glass than to use this company. I wouldn't waste the time on them to even write a review except they've managed to piss me off so much I can't NOT do it at this point. read more

More like Worst Cabs Inc. I arrived in Topeka using a Grey Hound bus, that part of my trip was quite pleasant. I called them at 11am to say I needed a cab at 12:10. I had 2 calls with dispatch after that; 12:20 and 12:35. Each time I was assured I was next in line and it would only be a couple of minutes. At 12:50 I called ABC cab because I was sick of waiting. ABC picked me up and dropped me off at my location 20 minutes before Best (Worst) Cabs Inc even showed up to the bus station. When the cab driver called me to say he had finally arrived, I told him I was sick of waiting, he shared a couple of expletives and then promptly hung up. Please do not use this company. They are unprofessional, unreliable and all around unpleasant. read more

I think cab companies are one of those categories people only review when they get bad service, so here's me playing the contrarian again: I needed a ride to the airport at Stupid Early O'Clock. They arrived within 15 minutes of me calling. I was waiting for them outside, as my apartment is gated. The dude helped me put my bags into the van, then drove me to the airport. From 96 and Woodlawn, Google thinks it's faster to go 96-135N-235S-Kellogg, but we went 96-135S-Kellogg. The difference is negligible, I'm sure. I arrived at the airport when I needed to, and I would use Best Cabs again. read more

Called for a cab, they told me 20 minutes... An hour later, I cancelled the cab because they failed to show up... I drive a truck, and have to follow hours of service laws... I called the day before I needed a cab at 5:30 A.M. the following morning. At 5:08 A.M. I received a call from dispatcher that my cab would be 20 minutes late. Was told cab drivers set their own times. Driver picked me up 30 minutes late. Driver did not know where airport was and I only live 4 miles from there. Driver took 2 wrong turns in getting to airport. Then driver had the gull to charge me for the extra miles he drove. Still waiting for a refund from cab company. read more

Worst experience ever!!! Called for cab ride which stated it would be about a half hour wait. After an hour and 45 minutes of waiting and 10 calls later which all I got was voicemail, the cab never showed and I had to go with an alternate ride. Will NEVER use this cab service again! read more

These guys are real pieces of work. Like to cuss out people they are transporting. Zero customer service from the drivers or the company at all. And why do the majority of the drivers look like tweakers? Hard pass. Stick with an Uber, Lyft, or something similar. read more

Booked an 0800 pickup the night before. I got a call from the driver at 0803 saying he just got dispatched and was on his way...15-20 minutes out. I got an Uber 8 minutes later. Horrible! Don't use this company. We took a cab to dinner last night. When we called for the cab to take us to dinner, the knew were we were going just by the name of the restaurant. When we tried to get picked up, they needed us to give them the exact address. When I said I didn't know, the dispatcher was rude then hung up on me. We had to call 4 times just to get a ride home! Don't depend on your cab showing up on time. Even if you schedule a pickup in advance. I missed my flight because the driver showed up 20 minutes late, and drove like an idiot, even tried to take frontage roads instead of Kellogg. Next time I'm taking Uber. ABC cabs is just as bad. read more

I called the taxi to come pick me up at dental office today. The guy who picked up the phone was so rude. I told him where I wanted to go and where I was at properly, but he rudely said "I don't understand what you said", then he hang up. Why couldn't he tell me "Excuse me, can you repeat again?" or something? Then, I waited for the taxi to come. 15 mins later, they didn't show up, so I called the office again to make sure he got the right address. He answered the call and said "I'm still trying to get one to get there". Then he hang up again. Then I waited 15 more mins, but still they didn't come. So I called the company again. At this time, I asked him how long it would take to get there. He answered "I don't know". But I asked him back to guess how long it would take. He said "15mins". Of course, he hang up again. Finally, the taxi came 50 mins later from the time I called the taxi. The company was too rude, and the taxi was too late. I would never call Best Cabs Inc again. I was going to claim the company on the website, but look, their website is closed right now. How inconvenient it is. read more

Worst service. Was at the airport yesterday night needing a Taxi to take me, my husband and 7 year old daughter home with three large suitcases. Taxi wouldn't take us saying we had too many bags. We know the taxi can fit our bags being that same size taxi took us to the airport. My daughter was worn out wanting her bed after a 14hr flight. Why say you do airport service or even send a taxi to the airport rank that isn't willing to take luggage. Called ABC taxi who sent a car in 3 mins (same size car) and guess what it fitted all the luggage in with no issue. Don't use Best cabs use ABC taxi. read more

Best Cab does not even deserve one star. The wait time is more than 2 hours during peak times. The reason for this is because they don't use their GPS to locate and dispatch the closet cab to your pick up location. They try to evenly distribute fares to all available drivers no matter where the drivers are at when you call. If you are east and the cab assigned to your fare is west you will wait until that cab has completed all the calls ahead of you and then drives back east to pick you up. I called for a cab to pick me up at Walmart. I waited 2 hours while I watched Best Cabs drop people off at the door and then drive right by me. When my cab finally arrived he told me the above mentioned method they use to dispatch cabs while he argued that drivers wouldn't get an equal number of fares and they couldn't make enough money. The customer is always first. This is why Best Cabs is only one star rated. If you have to get to work or a doctor's appointment don't call Best Cabs. You will be late and they won't even apologize. I don't know how they stay in business with such horrible customer service and dissatisfaction. read more

The cab shows up at my house 30 minutes late making me late for work. I could easily excuse this considering things happen. I understand that. However; when she got to my house the driver called me and said she couldn't find it. I told her it's the blue one and she responds by saying she only sees a green house (talking about my sky blue one). I explained that it's probably because it's dark and only appears that way. Again not a big deal. But when I get in the cab she just won't let it go and spends the entire ride trying to tell me I'm wrong. I tried to just ignore her and not say anything but she doesn't drop it. She just keeps telling me that it's seafoam green (In which case the sky is as well). I couldn't believe the blatantly rude attitude this woman had after showing up so late in the first place. I would gladly walk across town before using their service again and would never suggest them to anyone. read more

Great customer service, clean cab, fast pick up! I was very pleased with this company!

Possibly just the worst service ever. Our car was at the mechanics and we needed to go get it. Place closes at 5:30. We called at around 3:30pm for a cab, said no problem. 30 minutes go by, no cab. We call, they say they're trying to get one to us. One hour goes by, nothing. We call, they say its on its way and hangs up on us. An hour and a half go by, we call another cab company, they say they'll be here in 10-30 minutes (which they were). So we call back "Best" Cabs and cancel the cab. The man hangs up on us. We call back, wanting to talk to his supervisor to find out HE IS THE SUPERVISOR. He also says there is NO ONE above him, and that they don't have a number for us to talk to anyone else. Worst customer service ever. Go anywhere else but "Best" Cabs! read more

The only good thing about this experience is that the cab showed up on time. The cab smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke, I could barely breathe. It was also very dirty. The cab driver was so over the top and kept throwing out racist and homophobic remarks and then laughing about it. He took me the longest way possible to my destination charging me more money because he didn't want to drive through the "Mexican hood." Then he went on to tell me about a passenger he threw out of his car because he was Mexican. Was honestly afraid to let this guy take my credit card for payment, but I had no choice because I did not have cash. He didn't look or sound trustworthy. I will not be using this cab service again. read more

Called for an immediate pickup not knowing what time my dr appt would be done.... 35 min later i called and let them know what time i had to be at my kids school which was in 40 min. They said i was next and the cabbie would be there shortly. Called again now with 10 min to get to my sons school and let them know i saw the cab drive by a connecting st 7 min earlier. Said the cabbie was pulling up any min. 25 min later he shows. Husband had to leave work to get the kid from school. Cab smelled awful. And the guy flipped off a postal worker and bad mouthed police. And dropped me off at the wrong location. I was done with him and walked the rest of the way home. In the cold. Will never use again. read more

Awful. "Best" Cabs? Um, no. I called and was told it would take about 30-45 minutes for the taxi to get there, which was fine as I was in no rush. 45 minutes passed so I called and they said they still hadn't got a taxi sent my way and would be a while. 45 minutes later I called again only to hear that supposedly a taxi had come by and not seen anyone and left again. They sent the taxi back to me and 30 minutes later there was still no taxi so I called an Uber and was home within 15 minutes of requesting help. Side notes: The lady on the phone was very curt, unhelpful, and hung up on me. I'd had a long day already and did my best to keep my patience with her but she was not in the least bit kind to me. I do not recommend this service to anyone and highly recommend uber instead. read more

If it was possible to not give any stars that's the route I would have taken. The dispatcher Ranae was very rude and discourteous after I called to complain of waiting over an hour after being told a cab would arrive within 30/40 min when requested to speak with a supervisor she then hung up in my face and my calls were not answered. If anybody knows how I can contact the business owner please let me know. The customer service is horrible. Do not use this company!!!! read more

Best Cabs is the WORST. Apparently their policy is to not take reservations at bars. When I called on NYE at 1220pm to make a reservation for 130am at a bar, they told me they would be there. They didn't show up & I called back, they told me they didn't have my reservation & at bars are against policy. They said they could send a cab & I asked for a time estimate, the response was I don't know. I called back the next morning the man who took my reservation answered. He said that they don't take reservations at bars, but on NYE they typically do. He said it was in the books when he left & he didn't know what happened. I spoke w/the manager this morning, he gave me attitude too saying it's against policy, he didn't know who told me that I had a reservation & MAYBE I had called the wrong Co (too bad it's all in my call log as the same number) I had called the wrong Co Best (Worst) Cabs. I never once received an apology. Take a customer service class ppl, be a reliable Co, what people expects from their cab Co read more
