The fee is always $25 which is kind of nuts since I live about 5 miles from any place I've ever taken a cab from. When coming from downtown Milwaukee a cab is about $60 for 20-30 miles. Anyway, my problem isn't really with the fare. You don't really have much choice in Waukesha so it is what it is. My issue was when I called last time and was informed that they couldn't pick me up because they had only one driver working...on a Friday night. Really?! When I raised this question the dispatcher, who was probably the only driver (since the drivers are constantly fielding calls while driving- how safe) he got super defensive and rude. What a jerk. Bottom line, Waukesha Cab is pretty awful.

Both drivers were very safe and pleasant and driving nice cars. Speaking as a newbie, I have only two negatives. One is I find the site Uber.Com and the user interface on my Android phone somewhat clumsy. (I had trouble reading my screen in the sunlight.) Two, I discovered that at a congested mall the GPS doesn't pinpoint your location that accurately. The Uber driver finally called me to determine my exact location. I shall use this service again, especially when visiting other cities. Update: 05/22/17. I luv Uber !

I struggled with my phone, and it took me 15 minutes to create/add a new Uber user for my wife and order a new ride. 40 minutes later I got a message that my 1st ride "now arriving at 3:15" (1 hr. 15 min. late)! But this was not the end of their SNAFU: they charged me for the 1st botched ride, and I had to contact Uber several times to get that charge refunded . A total mess and disaster!

The cab showed up a little later than I was told but no big deal be I'm not on a clock. The driver was told what address to drive to and asked if the highway was ok and I said yes, he had no clue where to get on the highway and said he was not familiar with the south side. I had to give him turn by turn directions for the whole drive which was weird because cab drivers just take you to where you want to go. While stopped at a red light in front of the highway he had no clue to get in the right lane for the on ramp until I said so and he almost gets into a accident moving into the right lane cutting off a truck that sounded his horn and gave him a hand wave and a nasty look.

The guy I called told me to "text" him my pick up and drop off locations, and he'd send me a quote. I did that and he never bothered to contact me back. I called him the next day, and I had to repeat all of my pick up and drop off locations because he had apparently "lost the text". In the middle of me repeating my pick up and drop off locations, he says, "I call you back" and hangs up before I even have a chance to say anything. I call him right back and ask him why he hung up on me and that he was being extremely unprofessional. I completely lost interest in doing business with these people. If the company is acting sketchy and has red flags before you even do business with them, it's a definite no go. Don't believe me? Give them a call!

The lady I talked to on the phone reassured me that my request for a Wheelchair Accessible vehicle would be easily met and that I shouldn't worry and to enjoy the last day of my vacation.
