Anyway, my problem isn't really with the fare. You don't really have much choice in Waukesha so it is what it is. My issue was when I called last time and was informed that they couldn't pick me up because they had only one driver working...on a Friday night. Really?! When I raised this question the dispatcher, who was probably the only driver (since the drivers are constantly fielding calls while driving- how safe) he got super defensive and rude. What a jerk. The driver was told what address to drive to and asked if the highway was ok and I said yes, he had no clue where to get on the highway and said he was not familiar with the south side. I had to give him turn by turn directions for the whole drive which was weird because cab drivers just take you to where you want to go. While stopped at a red light in front of the highway he had no clue to get in the right lane for the on ramp until I said so and he almost gets into a accident moving into the right lane cutting off a truck that sounded his horn and gave him a hand wave and a nasty look.
