Terrible customer service for phones and cell phone company representatives. I would not recommend them for any of these products.

They had in stock ADSL modems which we couldn't find at other stores. The most common now are cable modem. The range of prices was good.

So before I decided to write this review, I wanted to look at the other ones to see if anything has…read morechanged or stayed the same. The last review is literally over a year old, so I figured this may be a good time for some fresh air. I suggest reading through just to give a better understanding of my HD purchase. I recently visited the HD for some carpeting as their competitor aka Lowes completely screwed us on carpet install. Just a little back story... We went to Lowes as we just purchased a home in November 2017 in Clarks Summit and wanted to get new rug installed, both in the living room and master bedroom. While at Lowes we came across some laminate flooring and after speaking to the employee for that area, asked if the free installation rolled over into laminate install as well and were told, Yes. So we pick out our carpet and padding and schedule a measurement so that we can get a price for everything. Boom, they came and measured and we go to pay. (This was just after the New Year). When we get there, we are shown our cost for everything (materials + free install + fee for removing carpeting etc). We than saw we were being charged $1k for laminate install for 300 sq ft. (This will be spoken of in detail on a review I will be leaving on Lowes via yelp). We decided to learn on Youtube and got it done. The pricing of the rugs came to just over $2,100 from Lowes. Come March 16th, tired of waiting and I go to Lowes and cancel the entire order. NOW... We drive to HD right after we left Lowes and were greeted by someone as we walked through lighting and told them we were looking for carpeting and she walked us over to Flooring and introduced us to Carlos. Carlos asked us what were we looking for in terms of comfort, texture, color and showed us a few samples. There was no rush or pressure. He even walked away a couple times without any hints needed to give us time to look and think. We went away from the rugs that would be in stock with 5 and/or 8 days (can't remember the guarantee) and went with one he said would be in within 2-3 weeks. Before leaving, we asked for the samples with all the different colors of 2 brands and signed them out, put them on our floor at home and left it there for a day to see what stuck out to us. The next day (3/17) we went in, put our order in, paid a deposit of $35 and were told we would get a call regarding measuring. The same day, we get a call with a measurement being done the next business day which was Monday. The guy called me at 730AM and gave a window and showed up on time. We were than called by the Atlanta office and I spoke to a nice lady named Michelle who went over everything with me and sent me a floor plan of the rug install which would show where any seams would be and I would sign off on it if I liked what I saw, which I did. Today (3/26), I get a call saying they have an install date of 4/6. 3 weeks total for everything from purchase to install! I had to opt for a date of 4/11 though due to my fiancee having her bachelorette weekend and company coming over, so we didn't want the smell of new rug going on. Total: $1,7xx A $400 saving which is a lot considering we are first time home owners and have our wedding in May. Overall, I am very happy with my transaction with HD.

None of them spoke English and made a mess out of my nice clean apartment. They came trudging in here with muddy shoes, stomping mud all over my carpet, ripped up part of my kitchen carpet and tore my pet gate off the wall, necessitating me to re plaster the wall. The landlord was about to blame me for "property damage " too! Shame on these idiots!

Let me first state that besides what I am writing my review for, the staff at Lowe's have been…read morereally great and other departments. I wrote a big review on HD's yelp regarding my situation with Lowe's and why I went with the HD, but wanted to go into detail of my experience with Lowes. This review pertains just to flooring because as I had mentioned above, everyone and everywhere else in the store was great to us. We went to Lowe's as we just purchased a home in Clarks Summit and one of our immediate to do's was to purchase new carpeting for the living room and 3 bedrooms. We were needing new carpeting installed at the least, a week before April 6th, 2018 to air out for my fiancee's bachelorette weekend and the bridesmaids coming up for it. We went because of their promotion with free install, which I know can save you a couple hundred bucks and free moving of furniture etc (this is extremely helpful as I tore my shoulder and had surgery just short of a year ago come next month). Cool, so we go in and look at carpeting (particularly stainmaster cause we do have a dog and I like being outdoors and just forget to kick my shoes off, etc). As we are looking around, we come across some laminate flooring and after some talking, we decide the two smaller bedrooms will get the laminate, but ask Joe if laminate is installed for free as well if it totals more than $699 and were told, YES, in front of myself, fiancee and her parents. So we think, damn, that's a good deal and no brainer for us. We finally pick out our rugs and put our deposit down for the measuring of all 4 rooms which I believe was $35. Measuring was done within 2 weeks while I was away for business and my fiancee was present for them to come and do so. They come in, do their job and leave. We go to Lowe's afterwards when the estimate is done, to see our price and pay for it. Thankfully we did because the wrong colors were going to the wrong room! Also, we saw we were being charged $1k for installation of the laminate. $1k! When the material of padding and flooring was $1,005! We decided to learn on youtube on how to install laminate and though my butt cheeks and thighs were burning for days cause of the walking up and down to use my miter saw and getting on the floor to install, it was worth saving a thousand bucks. We brought this up to Paul (May have got his name wrong, as Joe who we did everything with wasn't there) and he apologized and said there must've been a miscommunication. We went over everything and he showed us the transition pieces that were going to be used and we saw it wouldn't have matched well with the flooring the rug would've met in the family room and kitchen. We decided to cut that out as well considering our transitions were still in perfect condition and couldn't figure out why we would've needed them in the first place. (we were being sold on something we didn't need) We were told one color will take up to 6 weeks to come in as it was special order, no problem cause it would've left enough time for it to air out before my fiancee's bachelorette weekend. Come install day, the guys brought a rug that was cut incorrectly (it was cut to the size of the master bedroom), but THANKFULLY he brought 2 pieces the same size (sarcasm) and would be able to do the living room, but with a HUGE seam running in the middle of the living room! We told him no, but he kept trying to tell us he would make it so the seam isn't noticeable, but nah, with time it will be and if I am paying a couple thousand for rugs that have a 20 year warranty, I want it to look good for at least 15 if I get it cleaned yearly. The district manager talks to me and says that they will get the rug within 2 weeks for a new install and apologized a thousand times. I get it, mistakes happen cause we are human, but I didn't appreciate him (installer) trying to get me to bite on a obvious flaw. This was Mid February. Come March 13th, I see HD is running the same special, but no cost for removing carpeting. So I say we go the 14th to Lowes and cancel our order at this point and look elsewhere. What happens? Lowe's calls us saying they have the carpet that was cut incorrectly and can install and I ask, where's my master bedroom's carpeting and get told it still isn't in. 9 WEEKS AND YOU STILL DON'T HAVE IT?! SHOULDN'T THIS HAVE BEEN SORTED TO SEE IF A RUSH CAN BE DONE?! I tell them no thank you and went to Lowe's, cancelled my order. When I went to customer service and explained the situation, the woman, who was a sweetheart looked at me with a "WTF, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" face and told me she will get this cancelled and reimbursed to me + the non refundable $35 for measuring/deposit. After that, went to HD and had my measuring done and carpet was scheduled to April 6th (bachelorette's weekend), but had to reschedule it for the 11th. We started the total process on the 15th when we paid to get everything in motion and cancelled March 14th. 2 months later!

For anything that requires installation by Lowes, i vehemently do not recommend Lowe's. My feedback…read moreto Lowe's survey: Accurate and knowledgable communication between the install team, the install company, the installer and the customer, regarding the details on separate appliance delivery and what the installer is tasked with would be a start. Every piece of information i recieved, was WRONG and led to a series of errors, delays, attitudes and in the end an installation i have to complete so that i can use the steam function of my new dyer. This whole ordeal was a huge cluster-#*&!

K & D Factory Service

K & D Factory Service

I can't wrap my head around what we actually paid $500 to K&D for…read more.. Full Disclosure: This wasn't my "personal" transaction with K&D, meaning it wasn't MY money being spent. However; a few weeks ago, acting as middleman for a restaurant I work in, I was asked to call K&D and set up a service call because the hood system in the kitchen stopped working at the end of a Friday night (of course that's when the hood ventilation is going to break, especially since the GM was out of state on a vacation). So I called and left a message with the answering service. Someone promptly called me back and confirmed they do install and repair kitchen ventilation hood systems. Great! Nailed it on the first call, I thought. I was told that since the technician was making a service call on a weekend, it would be reflected on the bill. Of course that was understood. We were happy someone could get here the next day & try to get us through the weekend (the most important days for a restaurant's service). Saturday morning the service tech shows up, On Time & Professional. He begins to diagnose our problem. He checked the basics (tripped breaker, power to fan unit, wall switch in ON position) but tells me: "he can't check the fan unit because he doesn't have a ladder, AND also, his 'boss' says they can't take the job because they are too busy, too short staffed, and this is gonna take 2 guys and a full week". (I was actually told this) F@$#!!!.. Ok. But now what? It's Saturday after all, & I wanna get paid! But, if they can't take the job, they can't take the job. So now our boss's, boss has to be involved, and call someone. Turned out to be a fan belt needed replacing (I assumed wrongly, that, it was the first thing looked at). The kitchen was back to normal & fixed in less than 30 minutes. Now- I am being asked about a $500 dollar bill paid to K&D!!! I have NO explanation for that! -This company actually charged $500 dollars for a technician to tell us. That they can't, in fact, help us. Because... They are just too busy?- $500 dollar check, signed to them, just to hear they can't take the job. It's not even my money. I can't believe it!! I'm so impressed by that move, I've sent my resume to K&D. I also, can Not fix things. We could make a fortune, together!
