This is the worst store I have ever dealt with. I purchased an ASUS laptop on May 24 2025 and it recently died. I assume the warranty of 1 year is in effect but I can't find a receipt so I went to the Pointe Claire store to request a copy so I can get my laptop fixed under the warranty. They were unable to locate it!!! I have the credit card statement that clearly shows that a computer was purchased on that date. That wasn't good enough. I am now stuck with a bill of $900 for repairs that should be covered under warranty. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS STORE. They have no idea how to provide good customer service. read more

Best Buy!! Try WORST BUY. How many times it should take to do a delivery as per the customer's request? So far we are on attempt three and fingers crossed that they might do it right. Oh, it's not us, it's the third-party delivery team, well who has chosen this third-party delivery team, it wasn't me. This review is not a reflection on the location or the people whom we had to interact with but more on the overall dysfunctional processes that Worst Buy has in place to ensure customer satisfaction or to be an efficient one. Usually, we spend money to bring some joy to our lives but it seems with Worst Buy, we do it to add misery and frustration with all the calls and emails that you need to do in order to get what you have paid for in good faith. read more

I found the salespeople very pleasant to deal with. What I didn't like is the fact that they don't have a single word of English in the entire Pointe Claire store. And this in an area where at least 50% of the customers are English-speaking. (This isn't Chicoutimi.( When I got an email from them saying that my delivery was ready--again, French only. There is not law in Quebec (at least, not yet) that says stores can't post English information on products or send emails to English customers in English. Obviously, the people who run Best Buy in Quebec don't want to let good customer service get in the way of their political beliefs. I won't be shopping there again. read more

This is not pertaining to the store, but rather to their online ordering facility... So...I ordered an Air Fryer from Best Buy to see if the problem I was having with my card was the result of Best Buy not allowing me to ship to my work place. It was. Therefore, I had no other choice but to ask them via email to ship it to my work....they didn't. I requested this because for this week, I do a 4 to Midnight shift. So I kept checking the tracking number and found that it was delivered(?) at 2:39 p.m....I'm not home. I said to myself that maybe Canada Post may have just left a delivery ticket on my mailbox...that wasn't the case. I got home at 1 O'Clock in the morning to find my package sitting under the mailboxes for 10.5 hours unattended and unprotected where ANYONE could have just taken it.....words cannot describe how livid I am....I want to stuff the bastard in a blender. read more

If you go shopping at the best buy on Brunswick Blvd. in Dollard des Ormeaux, you better know the specs of what you are looking for before entering the store. I was looking at the Garmin smart watches and a sales person came up to me asking if I needed some assistance and said that he would send someone "knowledgeable" over to help me out. First of all I waited over 15 minutes and then saw someone in the distance dragging his legs and slowly approaching me. When he finally arrived I was questioning him about the different models of Garmin watches. I wanted the Garmin Fenix 5X because I had seen that it was on special for 650$ instead of 850$. He kept looking every model up on the web and was not even providing me accurate information about the devices. Finally he said "we do not have the one you are looking for and that if we did it would be 1500$". I knew he was way off. I asked him about one model which was locked up behind glass and seemed to be the one I was looking for. He said that was not the one I was looking for. I insisted he show it to me. After looking at the box, it turned out to be the exact model I was looking for. I asked if I could open the box to see it, and he said I would have to purchase it and if it wasn't the correct model then return it. So thats what I did.Sure enough it was the correct model and it was on special 200$ less than the original price of 850$. So I ended up paying 650$. Had I not been as determined to find what I was looking for, I would have bought nothing, and the special was ending the day after. Either the sales people are not trained at all or their attention span is zero just like every other Millennial with a screen embedded in their face.
