    Worst experience ever! I'd like to give zero star at all. I purchased a laptop online and it didn't work so I call the customer service and did everything on the app and was told I'm all set all I need to do is to return the laptop to a nearby store. So today I went to the Mckay Ave store, I experienced 3 CSR who asked me the same lists of questions again and again until they can actually provide any SERVICE! When I questioned them why they let unqualified employee to work as a service representative, they questioned me back: Then how do you expect them to learn?! For God's sake it's your problem, get them trained before they work! I don't want to say if but those south asian employees are pissing people off with zero service and zero knowledge while demanding you to treat them politely.TERRIBLE !!! And what's more they need 5-7 business days to give your money back

    I am not a gadget or electronics person so I feel like a fish out of water here. Service was dismal too. It was tough to find a staff member for assistance. I went back to the entrance where there were two SAs there. One checked the system to see if the item I wanted was there. He told me it was out of stock though the website showed it was in store. I asked about other colors or similar products and he was unable to help. Good thing I walked back to the computer accessories area and managed to ask another SA on where the Logitech products are. And I saw the mouse I initially wanted was in stock. Just not the color. In the end I managed to get what I wanted. I also realized service could be slow because customers like to talk gadgets and stuff with the staff. So it will take more time than usual to serve the next customer. Not a place I will go often. The only reason for me to even shop here is because I have a gift card to use. Parking is available in station square lot.

    Something different about this Best Buy. It seems small. Seems like it has less selections. Its located upstairs second floor at Station Square. Parking is very limited here. But most people park at Metrotown and walk over. Just too much work to move the car unless you are just going to Best Buy. Hard to find a customer service here.

    In Vancouver, we don't have a lot of choices if we need to buy any electronic devices or small appliances. Best Buy is one of chain store and price guarantee protection shop that we always go. On Sat afternoon, it wasn't busy in the store. However, no one really come to us and ask for help. We're looking for tablet over 10 mins but sale guys just busy with other customers. We left without waiting afterwards. Is that the way to do the business? If so, this location never get my business!

    I was extremely happy after my last shopping visit to this location where it was a complete shopping experience where I left a little lighter in my wallet, but valued in many ways from the interaction and the final purchase that was made. I came in here on Saturday, thinking they were closing at 9 (really it was 10PM) and was planning to buy a tv. It is pretty quiet at this location and there were a few sales people that were at the middle of the television department, and when I approached them, this sales representative named Matt helped me out with all my needs. He was able to describe the product to me, the features, advantages, able to locate the product in their stockroom, and didn't push anything on me for an extra sale. I still purchased the extended warranty, 4 years, as he knocked the price down to match the 3 year warranty price. Also I saw a competitors sale on the same item, and he was able to discount the tv I was buying, made it no hassle one bit. He explained each step clearly, from even apologizing on the wait time for the systems to update due to adjusting the price of the item, to the wait time of finding the tv in the stockroom. I felt no pressure buying anything, and he was very upfront with everything. He was very engaging, and talked to me right to the point of helping me put the big purchase in the car. Service definitely does go both ways, and he even said it, and I don't know when I had this much fun shopping, but I commend Matt for making the whole experience just fun, and hoping that anyone who shops for a tv, goes and sees him to get it done. Never rushed through the purchase, very thorough through the transaction, the price matching, the warranty (my questions on all the coverages), opening the box and looking for any flaws in the tv, cracks, etc. (as he said, the sales person should be the one in the end looking at the tv, as they would know more than anyone else what to look for!) and taking the tv all the way down the elevator and into my car (which barely fit, but luckily it did!). Next time I purchase a tv (going to be a long time.. ) I hope I get this kind of experience, but for all you guys looking, come here. Matt knows his stuff, and is willing to go the extra mile to find it, as he even searched the computer for a brand new one for me, but in the end I chose to deal with him. Bestbuy has a price match guarantee to, so look into that, as they guarantee the lowest advertised price which they honored without hassle.

    I was a bit disappointed at the lack of customer service at this location. I came here around 1pm so there wasn't much people. I was trying to buy some banana plugs for my HIFI equipment so naturally I went to the home entertainment section. I spent over 30 minutes attempting to locate the item while also having a laugh at the $150 receivers that they we offering. It was fairly hard trying to find someone for help so I just wandered around. I finally found the item on the opposite side of the store. They mainly carry low-mid level HiFI equipment by Onkyo,Polk,Marantz and a couple of other brands.

    This place is a total joke! I went here on March 3rd to fix Acer laptop and it's been outdated with…read moreWindows 7 with slow speed. I phoned prior to fix my laptop making sure I get Windows 10 and have the data saved onto CD. The husband fixes computers and laptops and the wife does all the talking probably. I even spoke to the wife beforehand and she quoted $40 for Windows 10 which is impossible. She even mentioned credit card is accepted as well. I wanted to fix my laptop ASAP and BOY, I was wrong! They both spoke terrible English and never understood or listened to what I wanted. NOBODY is using Windows 7 as it's been discontinued after January14th of this year. Any tech guys would be very knowledgable of what system to run and when to upgrade systems. I was hoping this store would offer a refund or maybe even deduct $40 off and then to upgrade to Windows 10. He said to bring back the laptop so he'll make extra money. This company doesn't know what they're doing. I've had issue with blue screen many times and really needed help running laptop smoothly. He deleted everything from the laptop and installed Windows 7 only. I've previously had lots of photos, Word (PowerPoint, Excel and etc) and other programs there. I really think this company is inexperienced and not professional keeping up with customer service. I ended up going to Aproman Computer on North Road to find out it costs around $100 to upgrade to Windows 10. The laptop is too slow and it was MUCH better buying a new or used laptop instead. **DO not bring your laptop here.** This place deserves 0 star if possible. Avoid this place!

They also put on a screen protector that feels like good quality and hasn't scratched. They also do iPad repairs and have accessories for all sorts of phones. Reasonable prices and definitely better value than the Apple Store. Would recommend. They're located just outside Computer Lane.

On any given time there is a ton of staff that work here and are willing to help. This store is big, and has a lot of foot traffic pass in front of it, most people are either taking the escalator to the parkade, or walking to Superstore. They have some computeres, notebooks, tablets, headphones, a minor selection of tv's, weird radio controlled toys, video games, batteries (from the Radio Shack days!), cell phones (and a cell rep that is waiting to sign you up), odd peripherals like usb keys, external hard drives, odd connector cables, and that's just naming a few things they have. The Source has never been my first stop, as I find their stuff more expensive than most places that have a wider selection, this store is really about convenience, it is located right in Metrotown afterall. The staff is pretty helpful, but a warning to those people who don't like to talk to anyone, this store is not for you, and someone will greet you once you walk through the entrance.
