I asked the lady for a trim and some shaping of my son's hair and showed her a picture. She proceeded to cut off all his hair and give him the exact buzz cut replica of the two young boys ahead of us. The fading/blending was practically nonexistent- you can see clear lines for the different lengths. See picture. Very sad, once again, that my son's hair was destroyed.

Valley Barber Shop is the place you want to go if you want a great cut in a wonderful atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and professional, and the shop reminded me of the place I went to back home. There are very comfy leather couches in the waiting room, and the jazz music playing in the background is fantastic. At the end of the haircut I even received a strait razor shave around the edges. This was by far the best experience I've had at a barber shop, and I will never go anywhere else again. I highly recommend this place to anyone in search of a great barber shop with an old fashioned feel.

He remembers everyone and once you settle on a haircut he has a photographic memory of how to cut your hair forever. He also remembers your name after one visit. It's sort of crazy. He does a great job on my hair for a fair price and is extremely efficient. I have no plans to go anywhere else. A few tips: 1) Don't walk in and expect to be seen right away. Because, 2) His repeat customers schedule an appt. So he's going to keep the schedule and fit you in as he can...which could be awhile. Also, 3) Schedule the next day only. Not two weeks from now and not today at 4pm. This is advice I rec'd from another client of his and it works 100% of the time. I think one time around Xmas I had to schedule two days out, but that's only happened once. It feels good to support hard working local business people that offer a good service for a fair price.
