I cannot recommend and thank best backyard weddings enough. Here is my journey with them: My fiancé and I had a long engagement since I am a teacher and knew I would not have a lot of time to plan while I teach. It gave us ample time to find the perfect venue for our June 20, 2020 wedding, and best backyard weddings was definitely it. Rosie and Ashley (as well as everyone I met in their family) were so kind, and you could tell it was the kind of business run from the heart. Every time I went up there to look at things and talk things over, I was more and more in awe of the beauty and fun of the location, but also of their kindness and support of our journey. What a treat to have my aunt/floral designer come up with me and CHOOSE which table decorations and other special uniques things I wanted to use. I knew it was the perfect place etc for us. Fast forward to March of 2020 when the world came to a stop. Rosie and I had multiple conversations about postponing or not, and with tears in my eyes, I eventually did decide to delay it, wanting the wedding to be perfect, not truncated. My husband and I got legally married in our backyard and anxiously awaited our "real" wedding, rescheduled for June 19, 2021. Well, my family has had an extremely rough year both emotionally and physically, and as we inch closer and closer to our wedding date, it became quite apparent to me that my family has not healed enough to have our dream wedding. Again, with tears in my eyes I told Rosie it was time to cancel, not delay, our wedding. The dress sits in the closet never worn, the bridesmaids dresses are collecting dust, yet the right thing to do was to cancel. Rosie showed the utmost kindness and compassion to our situation, and it brought me to tears even more, as over the past 2 plus years they have come to feel like family. One day, I hope we can do a vow renewal there, as it truly is the only place I can imagine having my special day. I attended a wedding there last night and it was spectacular. Every detail made the wedding perfect from the decorations to the dinner settings and the beautiful vistas surrounding this place. The owners were everywhere, making sure the guests were well taken care of and happy. They made the guests feel as if they were the bride and groom and paying for the event. I would recommend the creative & decor friendly bride to them any day! Best Backyard Weddings are really visionaries. I got married at their location in Acton on September 27th and could not have been happier! Ashley, her husband, Rosie, and Don were sure to make everything right leading up to the event. When it came to the actual day the whole family showed up and really pulled it off as a team. On top of that I also forgot some people in the seating arrangement and Ashley didn't miss a beat and just set up an extra table before anyone even realized. They really do not get enough praise for all the work they put into their craft, on top of the hospitality they provide by treating everyone like family.
