Thankfully, they have umbrellas covering the tables. There are three floors with private rooms available for reservation. Whether you're in need of a study room or an event space, the library has options. My favorite place to get settled is in the treehouse room. It "hangs" off the main building and is surrounded by a thick forest of trees that provide a soothing atmosphere. My only let down about this space is the flaky wifi. The library operates off a hotspot whose connectivity level seems to depend on your location. As a remote worker, it's hard to get in a good workflow when the signal drops at random. The agent was helpful and it took me about five minutes to get my new card. They also have passport services available at this location. So if you are in need of a passport, I recommend visiting the Central location, as they thoroughly explain the services to you. The staff is always so courteous and they have a nice bookstore that offers books for cheap. I have been able to find newer books there too. I highly recommend this location to help with various needs, ranging from book checkout, internet services, and passport services.

The library staff is extremely friendly, and the location is conveniently close to Hwys 31 and 52 in Pelham, without the challenges of traffic fights to get there. This is a fantastic library and it has a something for everyone…read more Sure the library offers a good selection of books to checkout and reference materials are available, but so are DVDs, audio books, downloadable audios, music CDs and other materials to checkout. And the library is always getting new materials. Yes! New DVDs the same day they are released. Not only is it cheaper than Netflix and Blockbuster's, it's FREE! If they don't have the DVD or book you want, you can always put one on hold and they'll retrieve it for you and let you know it's available. This library has study rooms and areas to read books or magazines. However this place is not just for reading anymore and often hosts events such as musical concerts, youth activities, technology simulcasts, art displays, spoken word performances, reading programs, theatrical shows, community meetings, children's story times, and other events. BTW: This place is wired for technology with over 20 public access computers, Internet access, public access copiers, and wireless Wi-Fi Internet access. This library even offers FREE public computer classes!
