The only thing they seem to know how to do out here with thyroids is drug 'em up, rip 'em out, then drug you up for the rest of your life. This woman supported me - from across the country - with the thyroid hormone that I needed to maintain a pregnancy. When you do repeated injections in the painful area and it doesn't help, he tries to shame you into continuing the injections anyway. If he had bothered to review my prior MRI or order a new MRI (and any good practitioner would have), he would have found that it was referred pain from a severe back problem that can't be fixed with injections and requires surgery. My advice is to try somewhere else that isn't just a needle-jockey mill.
