They also custom designed a template for the photobooth print outs based on exactly what we asked for - the final printed photos turned out beautiful! They also sent us the digital copies of all of our photos very quickly after the wedding day - which was included in our very reasonably priced package. I wanted something more than a traditional photo booth at our wedding and was thrilled to find out they offered 360 video booths. They were also offering a deal that included their roamer ring service during cocktail hour - I was sold! On the day of the wedding, Ryan was set up exactly on time and he was FANTASTIC about seeking out guests to capture using the Roamer Ring. I'm so grateful for this as I'm certain he captured photos of guests that otherwise would not have been targeted by our professional photography team. Our guests had a BLAST using the 360 booth - it truly brought out some hilariously goofy sides of friends and family that I'd never witnessed before lol. Ryan also was kind enough to bring along an extra vintage phone to be used as an audio guest book which provided us with some really funny and heartfelt messages we'll cherish forever. It also just looked cool sitting amongst our gift table haha. You guys did an awesome job! To anyone looking to book with flip book, My advice would be to take full advantage of your custom cover design. The designer will make any design you want for the covers. We had a guest list of 400 people and at times there was a bit of a line, but every one who wanted a book got one. I personally have 5 books with different family and friends. Also ask them to work with you on the price, they were much more flexible on price than the other flip book companies I called. I contacted Chicago Photo Booth Rental for a quote a month before the event I was planning. Ryan…read morewas very helpful at first and sent us a quote within a day. I responded saying we would be using his services and would send him the paperwork over the next day. Once I sent him the paperwork, he responded with a question about payment. After I responded to his question I didn't hear back from him. I sent the response on a Thursday so I thought maybe he was just busy and I would being hearing back on the latest Monday. Monday morning comes around, and I send him an email with an update on the paperwork because I need to get things moving for my event as it was 2 weeks away now. Again no response. Finally I had email him again the next day basically asking why he is ignoring my emails, and if he is not interested in our business he could at least respond so I can look elsewhere. Finally he responds with, and I quote, " I'm so sorry for late respond. I'm sorry but i have already fill the date with another client." I am so frustrated and disappointed in this response. Do not tell clients that you are available for booking and to have me send all the official paperwork for you to ignore it and find a different client. Very unprofessional of Ryan and would not recommend to anyone to use his service.

I got so many compliments from all of my friends who attended too. The props were so much fun! From Hamburger hats to Crowns to big silly sunglasses. The guests were so stoked to take home prints with them (with no charge to them) and they loved learning that all of the photos were going to be uploaded online later that week. (I was asked if I wanted them public or password protected too- I chose public- why not!) The cool thing about them too is their versatility. The…read morebackgrounds they provide are fun but classy enough that they blend in beautifully with the rest of the wedding decor. The whole contract/payment process was painless and they were very flexible about set-up during the event (we had a room change, and they were willing to set up during the short window in which the ceremony space was being converted to dinner space while our guests were at cocktail hour). They also brought their own linens and prop table, which was great because I totally forgot to rent anything for them. My guests had fun with their props, though if you see something you really love on their website you may want to request it (I kinda wanted one of those "LOVE" banners and a picture frame, but didn't say anything and it wasn't in my assortment). I also brought a number of props of my own, which I sort of suggest doing in general since it makes it a bit more personal (like I had supplied Mario and Luigi hats since we're nerds like that). Our attendant was friendly and helped keep the prop table tidy during the event and explained how to take photos to the people who were confused. She wasn't as "in-your-face" as some photobooth attendants I've seen at other weddings, like who tell you want poses to do and help you take really crazy photos, but this was something that we were expecting based on Laughing Tulip's classy branding. I sent a lot of photobooth inquiries for our date (with both open and closed styles) and I felt that Laughing Tulips was definitely the best value for what you get! They also are upfront about their rates, which many photobooth companies are not (you have to give out your contact info in order to find out a quote, and then they contact you over and over again for months). The printed strips were a hit at the wedding, and the digital downloads (free and very high quality) started popping up all over our guests' Facebook pages when people got home. OH and they make a super cute slideshow set to music for FREE!
