They also sell small pieces of furniture such as coffee tables, side tables, clocks and pictures. I have bought nearly all the light fittings for our house from Ruth at Cotterells and she has been very helpful. They have also offered a sale or return on large light fittings so that we can check it actually works in the room. This is reassuring when you are thinking of spending a few hundred pounds on a light fitting! Price wise they have a good range of options and look out for their own brand lights which are very competitively priced. I highly recommend them.

The place is completely mad. Lots of choice but it is almost impossible to choose due to how crowded everything is. The actual fixtures look tired and could do with renewing the layout is very all over the place and the staff are hard to find. Upstairs is where they have a warehouse clearance. Lots of random bits which are heavily reduced and sold as seen. It's great if your are trying to fit out a house and cut the cost but take your time and go round everything.

One member of staff even told me that the manager was too busy with more important things! Staggeringly ignorant - they deserve to fail big time

We have been…read moredoing a lot of stuff to our house recently and there are a few wee things we need to finish it off. So decided to take look. This place is cool and the furniture is quirky. They seem to have loads of designer type items that you would be unlikely to find in many shops elsewhere. The main thing they had when we were in was chairs, every shape, size and colour you can imagine. A word of warning though, a lot of them were in the 300 quid plus bracket. There was also ornaments, lamps, lamp shades, pictures, tables, etc, etc... I saw several cool things, but left with none of them as price wise they would impact on my holiday purchases for 2016! (Priorities) Nice shop, well worth a little bit of window shopping or might even have that ideal thing you won't get anywhere else and actually buy to finish your house off.

The bulbs are still in wrapper and I called the store to see if I could exchange, or part exchange, I was told no. Not at all. Graham the service assistant was very confident and sure of the fact he did not need to check this with manager.. Chris Drew I understand is the Glasgow Manager who clearly needs to address this. I shall notify HO and also CTS. I will not shop there again and will encourage others not too as this was a basic customer service issue which could have been resolved in an acceptable manner.

It's got some really lovely bits and pieces - Glasgow road signs, vintage map wall art, luggage cases, Shetland wool blankets, chandeliers, furniture as well as wee decorative pieces. One of my favourite finds was a glass pineapple that has a silver coating and now sits on my lounge room table. I didn't realise but they also have a shop through in Edinburgh and an online store. With fantastic customer service and great, unusual pieces, I'll definitely be popping in more often.

Anyway, needed a mother's day gift and I'm glad I went in. I was focussing on the unique candle scents, rhubarb and ginger or fig to name but a few, for the gift. These were so delicious I came away with one for mum and one for me. Other things that caught my eye were the range of blankets/throws and room diffusers. Staff here are extremely helpful and friendly (none of the pouncing/smothering approach some people go for) and a pleasure to do business with. If you need something lovely...time and tide. (Even if you are clumsy!)
