The house we were looking at was originally listed for sale, since the market was slow the buyer was generously willing to rent to us. Sheree was unhappy about this and treated us as though we were criminals, refusing to speak with us over the phone saying everything had to be done through text or email so she had written accord of everything. Every interaction she gave us attitude and told us she thought we are being sneaky and lying. We lost our entire home and everything in it. We were processing trauma, basically homeless with two young children all while trying to find a rental in our neighborhood as quickly as possible and she made the process extremely saddening and horrible. We obviously were going to sign a lease, she was afraid we would break the lease and move back into our house in a few months. We assured her multiple times we were not being sneaky and not trying to trick anyone, offering to show her our house right down the street that would take a year to fix. Our insurance agent even tried to talk to her and assure her that even IF the house was done in 9 months insurance continues the full lease term payments. She would not cooperate with anyone, would not speak to our insurance agent. We brought in our realtor in hopes that she could speak cordially with her, but she even yelled on the phone at her saying we are "sneaky", "lying", etc.. She made every single step of the way difficult, sad, and miserable. We had an idea to maybe pull money from some resources and purchase the house that way we didn't have to rent the house, but again absolutely terrible interactions and being called names by Sheree Leonard. The only reason we continued to try and push through with this house was because there were no other rental options immediately available in our neighborhood and I had my heart set on this one because it was a few houses down from my kids favorite playground and friends. We decided to rent because we didn't want to communicate with Sheree any longer and figured she would be out of the process and the landlord being the owner would be the communicator. When we finally came to an agreement and shared that insurance pays the rent directly so we don't have to be a middle man she refused that as well. We got approved, etc, went to sign and found out Sheree would be the one to communicate with us as the "landlord" so we decided homeless was a better option than continue communications with her.

I was interested in renting a property she was managing & she didn't even show up to our appt. She texted me while I was en route that she wasn't going to make it & thankfully the current renter was kind enough to show the property to me. That should have been a red flag about how unprofessional she is. When I showed up to the condo on move-in day with my two week old son there was no AC and it was over 90 degrees. I called her and she told me that if she called a repair person I would be responsible for the costs. I was a single mom with a new baby with nowhere to go in an overpriced condo. Thankfully the maintanance man found me crying on the floor and put me in touch with the landlord to help me. The landlord had to take over & do Sheree's job for her. The landlord paid for me to stay in a hotel with my son while the AC was fixed and the condo was made move-in ready. It was disgusting. There was cat fur everywhere, dead bugs in the freezer & blood stains on the toilet seat. I don't think Sheree ever set foot in the condo. I think she was earning commission, but not doing any work & taking advantage of the landlord because he is elderly. I'm almost positive that my landlord fired her because he no longer uses her after the way she treated me. He told me he would "deal" with her. I've heard she is nasty to everyone. I was at a post-operative appt for my C-Section and she sent me the attached text when I didn't respond right away. How childish! She also had a dryer installed without cleaning the vent which is a huge fire hazard. I'm lucky my landlord noticed before I used it.
