Beautifully situated among open spaces, with a Frisbee golf area just across the parking lot, it also has walking/bike paths, a bike repair area (we LOVED that!) drive thru book return, and friendly, helpful staff. While, not the largest of libraries...for this "small town", what a library it has! You can put on hold any item and if this particular location does not have the item, they will get it for you. I read a lot, and use the online system for asking for books, and have been very happy with how that all works. I also appreciate how they will try to get inter library loans for me as well, and consider requests for purchase.

The children's area is at the back of the library, and there are several comfortable areas to sit and read with the kids. The large windows in this area provide plenty of natural light, and also allow inquisitive children to look down upon people and cars milling around below, and watch the dogs playing at the dog park. There are also educational activity centers in this area, so the kids can move around a bit. This my kids' favorite Fort Collins library.
