I'm hoping this doctor has changed her attitude since leaving the Jackson Medical group. I see she is now at Infectious Disease Physicians Pa. I saw her 1 year ago when she was a GP and will never forget the appointment. She asked why I came to see her. I explained I had just moved to the area and was looking for a new medical provider and I had a few physical issues to discuss. She cut me off and said "first of all, I am NOT a provider, I am a physician!" I was shocked. I certainly didn't mean to offend her, but I was just speaking insurance language. She rushed through the exam and said she would send my prescriptions same day to my pharmacy. I confirmed the pharmacy and left. The next day, I went to the pharmacy and there were no prescriptions sent. I called the doctor's office and they said they would be sent right away. I checked again later and had the pharmacist fill them. When I got home, I saw two of the three prescriptions were not for my problems. They were controlled substances probably meant for anther patient but had my name on them! I called the doctor and was told she had left the practice as she had planned to. I asked why she accepted a new patient when she was planning to leave. No real answer for that was given. I returned the wrong, unopened controlled substances to the pharmacy and asked them to report the terrible mistake to the medical board. She never called me back nor sent the correct prescriptions. I see her as arrogant and self-serving and am happy to leave her in the rear-view window. read more
