He helped us get approved but left out some details. We got the car a week after signing the contract and had already a payment due the following week. This is the way they do things, fine but it was never disclosed during the sale. There is also a convenience fee to process every single type of payment made online. They don't offer any free payment options. The car was dirty and smelled so bad. I know they noticed the smell but failed to do anything about it. The gas tank was empty and one of the tires was flat. Within a few days of buying the car, I had to replace the key fob battery, and get an oil change, now the car battery is low and there is a knocking sound coming from the engine. It's a used car but they claim to do all these car inspections before selling them. Which is complete BS. I like my car but since buying it has given me a lot of issues. Then they have the audacity to ask for a 5-star review I would not recommend buying a car from this dealership. There are other businesses that care about customer satisfaction.

I made an appointment for several services. When I asked about servicing the transmission, the employee says "we can do it or if you're having problems, you can bring it in later." The point of being there is to not have issues in the first place. They then did it again. When I asked about them checking my car battery which is free, the female employee says "we only do it if you ask and even if we do, it's not a test. It's just a test for if it's good or bad. If your car isn't starting, bring it in to us." I think that's kind of the point of why I was asking. I'm not really into my car not starting. They never offered to check the battery and they only did the transmission only after I insisted. Overall, they see you as another transaction. That was evident when nobody went over what was done to my car until I asked. They were just going to take my money and send me on my way. They don't have much of a sense of what it means to serve people or go above and beyond. They follow their manager's orders but unless you're purchasing a car there, it's not really a meaningful experience. In fact, it's terrible despite that U.S. flag on their dealership's logo which now that I think about it, makes sense given the corporate transactional mindset through which they run their business and take their customers' money without a true sense of service. I'd go elsewhere.

I cannot say enough positive things about the automobile itself. The management and finance people are incredible to work with and made buying a car from them an enjoyable experience. Sadly this dealership is really hit and miss when it comes to quality of service. They are always over booked and understaffed. The sales people are quite rude when they approach you and determine you are only on site to deal with a service issue. Even when you call in for an appointment and ask for a ride in the courtesy shuttle at a specific time you will usually end up waiting for an hour for it to return or be told that it is full. The cashier (the old bitter one) has a serious attitude problem when you attempt to pickup your keys from her desk. What really pisses me off the most is they sold my information to an extended warranty company who endlessly contacts me on Bert Ogden's behalf and harass me even after opting out of the service. When I mentioned this to other BMW owners they named Bert Ogden as the culprit in this practice as well. If you buy a car from them never give them your real phone number or the harassment will never end.

The service center than advised me that I had a leak that was covered under my warranty and that I can bring the car back on Monday. I told him to just keep the vehicle. I have been calling since Monday and the first call they said they were waiting on inspector, Tuesday the inspector just left, Wednesday the part needed the warranty company was trying to get it cheaper somewhere else, Thursday no answer, Friday no answer. My car has been at the service center for a week now and I cannot believe these people do not call to even give an update. I am now going to have to drive across town from work just to see if someone can give me some answers since they don't answer the phone.

So it is with great gratitude that I take time today to put these thoughts down for the cosumption of others who may be condisering a purchse from Bert Ogden Auto Outlet here in Mission, TX. My experience was just outstanding. The entire crew I intracted with wether they were inolved in my purschae or not, were just so genuinely nice people! Talk about refresshing. I would give more than 5 stars but that is all I can give! My sales professional Jesus, was such a nice guy. Very pofressionaly, knowledgeable and personable. Trust me, he had the cards stacked against him with me as his customer. He put up with all my questions, offers and counter offers with a very gentle tact and I truly felt he was there to help me as much as he could within the limits imposed on him. The manager, George was also awesome as he too had to put up with my shrewd negotiation skills. He did consider my offers and countered with fair ones of his own and in the end crafted a deal that I and the dealhership could stomach. Once again, just a real nice fella! I never felt pressured by him or anyone there actually. Lastly, Joe the Finance Manager was also a complete gentleman, knowledgeable about his work and very effecient with the time he was helping me navigate the vast amount of paperwork required to purcahse a car. He has an excellent choice in music too! I just can not state it enough, but these guys were just so freakin nice and professional and I stress, "non pressuring"! I have zero reservations in recommending this dealership to any family or friends and to anyone I do not know. Have you every seen the show, Under Cover Boss?
