They did notify me of this verbally but they failed to mention that I wouldn't have access to my storage unit. I paid someone to move stuff to their storage unit only to be turned away. The manager was very rude and unhelpful. I asked for my money back and she stated she wasn't able to help me. I highly recommend you don't use this place while their current management is in place. How stupid is it to have a garage sale event that interferes with regular business.

Price started at about $130 a month when it was named something else. Another facility took over and then SROA took over Rent went to $183 a month.i paid this by draft, faithfully, every single month, never being late. I went to my storage unit in October to empty it, as I bought a house. Once my son and I went into my unit we noticed mold all over my things. Not just mold, BLACK MOLD. My son was very, very sick for the entire weekend after that. I immediately called and spoke to the manager, Hannah, and she met us at the facility. She, as well as i, took many photos of the damages, the ac unit being on 85* and the photos of the entry doors being wide open and broken, even though it is supposed to be a climate controlled facility. Also, all the water damage on the walls of the unit, the water stains on the floor and the roll up door of the unit. The amount of items I had in storage, the priceless things I had in storage that were ruined, completely broke my heart. Items I inherited from family members. Photos of deceased family. My college graduation photo. Photos of my sons when they were little. A jewelry box my grandparents gave me for my high school graduation. A hand sewn king size quilt that took me 3 months to sew. An areial ohoto taken of my great grandparents' farm back in 1953, that is no longer a farm. IRREPLACEABLE things. The manager, at the time, Hannah, told me to fill out the forms she gave me and make a list of everything and give every item a price. This took some time since I work full time. I had to pay for 3 extra months of storage to be able to go thru every thing and price it all. Hannah stood in front my son and i and assured us it would be handled and paid for by THEIR insurance as it was THEIR fault since the ac unit above my storage unit leaked ALL IN MY UNIT and no one bothered to call me to check my things. I depreciated the value on everything, as I know how insurance works. I was an insurance agent for 27 years. My depreciated value came to $6,800. Their insurance offered me $2,000. They said that is all MY insurance would pay. They said that is ALL the coverage I paid for. They would not stand by what their manager, Hannah, told us. They do not care to stand by what THEY DID and their negligence in this situation. I called and spoke to the "new manager" and he said he would see what he could do. Apparently what he could do was BLOCK MY NUMBER FROM CALLING THEM . He is at the University location. So, beware if you have anything in any of the storage locations for SROA as they apparently do not stand behind their negligence or issues with their buildings.

Our RV broke down not far from the Bus Barn and the repair facility could not look at it for 3…read moreweeks. We had to quickly find a storage facility for that time frame. We have never had to store our RV before this. All we knew was there was a problem through out the country of catalytic converter theft at storage facilities. The Bus Barn is not the cheapest storage in the area but it is seems to be the most secure. We were highly impressed with their prompt reply to our inquires and completely followed the advice given to us by the on site manager. The facility is immaculate and new. They have never flooded and survived hurricane Ian with no problems. There are cameras everywhere and each garage is double locked. A high fence completely surrounds the entire facility and each renter has their own security code. They are expanding rapidly with an eye on catering to the RV communities needs. Our tow truck driver was able to easily maneuver our RV both in and out of the facility. However the owner is planning on providing more pull through garages with 30 amp service in the future. We had electrical hook up in our storage garage. We saw no evidence of any rodents or bugs. I would highly recommend The Bus Barn which has easy access to Interstates 12, 10 and 55.
