Dr. Anglis sent it back to the lab several times but I continued to have pain and my bite was off. This went on until August 2022. I kept asking him what was wrong and he would say "I don't know". He finally sent me a letter and refunded my money and said to see a prosthedontist. I went to see one and was asked if Dr. Anglis was a general dentist. I said yes and that he was an" implant specialist". The prosthedontist informed me that there is no implant dentistry specialty in dentistry. He said Dr, Anglis should have corrected this misaligned implant sooner and was surpised he waited so long . He said I should only go to a prosthedontist or oral surgeon for implants. It is a very precise surgery and he said this implant was not planned well. It had to be removed and start all over. It could never be restored with the way the implant was placed and it was affecting my bite terribly. I had suffered with this misaligned implant for a whole year and Dr. Anglis and didn't know what to do. He should not be placing implants if he can't fix his problems according to the prosthedontist. I had the implant removed which the oral surgeon said was a complicated surgery since it was placed the year before. After that I needed a bone graft, and sinus lift. Finally I got the implant placed in the correct position and a crown was placed. This took another year. I had trusted Dr. Anglis for the years I went to him and sent him three patients. I so wish I never went there. Dr. Anglis is just a general dentist with some training placing implants but does not have the eduation an oral surgeon or posthedontist has since they can fix a problem when it arises.

I spent the last 34 years going to my Mom is a dentist in Cincinnati, so I am pretty partial. I…read morerelocated to the area recently and went in for what felt like and turned out to be a cavity. First off I was BLOWN AWAY by the amount of super modern equipment they had. Beacon Hill made my Mom's office look dated (sorry Mom!). I had an excellent hygienist named Julie she breezed through all of the check up and cleaning, (plus they had this awesome thing they place in your cheek that catches all the drool and you can relax your jaw, so you don't have to sit there with your mouth cranked open and end up sore... (Whatever it was it, it is one of the reasons I will go back in a heartbeat!) Also, with all the technology in the office it took no time and was super easy plus I got to watch ESPN on a TV over my chair, which made the time fly. It turned out I had a cavity so Julie had to give me a numbing shot.... I am a total needle-phobic person so I was freaking out. However, Beacon Hill has these amazing needles that I'm pretty sure are laser cut and so precise I didn't feel a thing! I was super relieved. Next thing I know Dr. Paul came in and worked on my cavity. He was very nice and was always checking back on me to make sure I was comfortable. He filled my cavity I watched TV while he was doing it and I was on my way home in no time. I am super happy because I can go here on a regular basis going forward and don't have to take a special trip to get my cavities filled or my routine cleanings. I will be back in November for my next check up!

Re: location on Randolph St…read more Great environment. Friendly and very attentive! My new Dentist office.

I regret the day I stepped foot into this Dental practice!…read moreAfter 25 years of having my original set of veneers placed on my 2 front teeth I had one crack. My original Dentist had long since retired so I was in immediate need of finding a new dentist who was experienced in cosmetic dentistry who could fix or replace my veneer. Smiles on Randolf told me Yes, they could absolutely take care of this for me and got me in right away. The female dentist I was placed with told me she couldn't guarantee that a new veneer would identically match the 25 year old veneer that I had on my other front tooth. So at a cost of nearly $4000 I opted to have both replaced. She began drilling away at my two front teeth to remove the existing veneers. I felt as though she was shaving down the front surface of my teeth and she did! I was fitted for a temporary veneer after being scanned x-rayed and molded for my new replacement veneers. That temporary was a nightmare to deal with. It slipped up and down while talking exposing the remaining stumps of my front teeth. And eating was next to impossible. Finally, my new veneers came in and I was able to get them put on. They looked nice but not as beautiful as my 25 year old original set. They even admitted that my original set looked amazing and to have them last 25 years was extraordinary. I was relieved to have my new veneers and wanted to put this horrible experience behind me. So I had thought, until one of my veneers popped off one day while I was at work. I had to work the whole weekend with one veneer completely detached from the surface of my front tooth. I went back and they had a different dentist glue the veneer back on. Within a couple of weeks the other one popped off! Again while I was at work. I had to wait again to get in to get it glued back on. I was told by yet another dentist in the practice that the dentist who delivered my veneers in the first place did not use the right glue!! I was told that I should not have any further problems now that they solved the original problem. But It happened again! This last experience pissed me off to a whole new level. They gave me yet another Dentist who was rude and condescending questioning me as if to blame me for this ongoing issue of my veneers continually popping off. I told him my original set of veneers lasted me 25 years without any issues until 25 years later when one cracked. The problem isn't me it is that this Dental practice is incompetent and knows not what they are doing! This Dentist told me he thinks one of my bottom teeth is hitting my veneer and that I might want to consider having it shaved down or else I should consider spending another $6000 plus to have caps put on my front teeth. Well, if the first incompetent dentist would not have shaved the front surface off my tooth then the new veneers would have lined up like my old veneers and I would not be going through this ongoing nightmare!! At this point I'm considering seeking restitution legally.
