This shop's got a special place in my heart; it was where I did school work experience. My introduction to the working world included sticking labels to records, sorting books, and getting confused when I tried to use the till. Good times, and they sent me home early every day.
The lovely people running this place do their very best to shift their stock. It's a fairly run of the mill charity shop, differing from most others in that its got a city centre location. They've got the usual array of tired looking vinyl, a bookcase of old thrillers and various odds and ends dug out of people's attics. The prices are designed to get the stuff off the shelves. Somewhere to come if you're stuck for something to read or are just finding the rest of Broadmead a bit abrasive and overpriced. read more
