First, no one communicated with me ahead of time that I needed to be present for the closing. Because the closing involved my husband, I was specifically told that I did not need to attend. Then, at the last minute, I received a call telling me I had to be there after all. As a result, I had to leave work unexpectedly to accommodate their lack of communication. I even asked them to have all the paperwork ready for me to sign when I arrived so I could get in and out quickly and return to work. You would think that would be a simple request, especially given the circumstances. Instead, I arrived to find everything disorganized and the staff completely unprepared. What made the situation even worse was the attitude I received when I pointed out that the paperwork should have been ready. Rather than acknowledging the inconvenience their poor planning had caused, the woman responded by telling me she was doing me a favor. A favor? Let's be clear: I did not ask for a personal favor. I expected basic communication, organization, and professionalism. She was being paid to do her job, and I was being forced to interrupt mine because of their failure to communicate properly. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them says everything. Instead of taking responsibility, I was met with an attitude that made an already frustrating situation even worse. I would not recommend this business to anyone. When you're dealing with something as important as a closing, you deserve a team that communicates clearly, respects your time, and treats you professionally.
