They kids section in the basement is a huge hit with my kids and even their daycare comes for story time occasionally. I'd donate money to them but my wife more than makes up for that with the amount of fines we pay for late returns. Not enough wonderful things can be said about their staff. Always helpful, always kind... So happy to have them as a cornerstone of our community.

Dating back to 1926, the Ardmore Library is small, charming and the oldest in the county. Despite its size, you're not restricted by what's there; you can go online and reserve books from any local branch. Two things in particular struck me: 1) if there's no hold on a book, it automatically renews -- with a few exceptions -- after three weeks. Apparently, this will happen twice. 2) you can go to the library and get free three-day passes to participating museums and gardens. Have a back-up, since there are a limited number of passes, sometimes only one per library per venue. The people working here are very nice and in a city where one should know how to parallel park -- that wouldn't be me! -- the library has a parking lot.

Ok, first if all thanks to the two nicest and helpful librarians Sylvie & Maureen . All of the…read morestaff here r great. I have been going here since , the ,original Cherry Hill library , the town I live in.was torn down to build this huge multi million monstrosity! Fyi. If u live in my town in Camden county, it wasn't needed. My town was given millions from the state and this money should of been shared by Cherry Hill to the other county libraries but they did not. Imho, seems very selfish . This is a fact . So my hometown is no longer a part of the county library system. Which is pretty sad , I have never set foot in this building. And its like minutes from my home but i dont like greed and the fact that the original library was great. It was not needed. I am afraid that if I say too much my review will be pulled but everything I am saying is truthful and confirmed by other library staff and mgt. So if u live in my town it costs to use any library in Camden County . But I luv the way I am treated , it's cozy, friendly and a warm environment. I don't like that monstrosity in Cherry Hill. Sorry 4 getting off topic so I pay $85 year and it's so worth it. It's in a nice quaint location in haddon township, there is a pretty park and lake, down the street. I def wish I lived in this town. Fyi, if you give them your email , the library will send u info on free events. Like they offered free yoga classes , which was so cool! Lot of activities for kids and adults . Sorry this is so long but when I started the review , I was in my car after I left the library and got halfway home & discovered I had left my purse[which has my life in it] AT the library. I was a wreck crying screaming , having a nervous breakdown or what felt like it. I called them and the librarian said someone turned it in. Omg!!! I was so lucky and I have had more than my share of really bad luck , so my trip to the library was unforgettable but have my purse and two more books to read. Which I am starting on as soon as I post this book I wrote , sorry if it's boring and long but they have so much besides books , latest cds, videos, and several computers if u just want to surf the web , check ur mail. Ok I am done time 2 relax and read a little b4 I crash.

Very convenient having a municipal building and library together, great addition! I personally am very happy with it all around! I will definitely be back again soon!

This former "corner store" layout is wonderful for all of these activities, with lots of room for tables and supplies. There's a private bathroom as well. Speaking of supplies - they have so much to create with! There's also displays of work by local artists for everyone to enjoy. I come to this space for their board game group, which is quite fun, and FDC is a regular at their knitting circle. The only challenge is with parking, which is street parking, however I've never had to go more than a block away to park. It's a great addition to Ardmore and I'm so glad to have it.

I've always enjoyed reading books what better place than the library to borrow books and videos? You can also use the computer or printers. The Yeadon library is is a core tenet of this small community. The building is old, but very neat and well kept, it is also highly organized. Everyone inside even the teen volunteers are very helpful and professional. Most of the staff is very enthusiastic about the library and the events that it sponsors. Remember, each library in your neighborhood should offer books, information, computer, and literacy programs not to mention sponsored events from time to time. There is something going on every week here, check out their calendars out front inside or online for more information. This past weekend, a trolley ride was sponsored by the Yeadon Historical Commission . It started from the library and went through the entire Borough. It was a great and enlightening experience.
