I have been taking my cars to Berlin Auto Wash since they opened. They've always done a good job, no scratches, no water spots, just a good value for the price. The personnel there are the hardest working people you've ever seen, and they have been there for years. This is definitely a five star operation. read more

Brought a brand new vehicle in and front grill was dinged by someone or something in the car wash. Water spots everywhere. Asked for money back, and manager was making jokes and insulting me. Might be good for an older vehicle, where you don't care about minor scratches and dents occurring to your vehicle if you just want to get the dirt and salt off. Terrible experience. read more

They have always done a great job everytime I have taken my car there! The car looks brand new when they are done and the employees are very nice. read more

Fantastic! Always. From the greeters who vacuum our trucks to Myra the cashier. We always like to leave a small cash tip at the receiving station and tip box. I've watched those nice employees work in the summer heat and freezing winter temps. NEVER once have I heard them complain. Whenever I call Myra to schedule a detail with Ricardo she is always so kind and helpful. Thank you for taking great care of our vehicles. read more

here is picture of scratch for damage caused by Berlin Car Wash thank goodness new car was coming to town this scratch was done on 10/08/2022 and my biggest piece of advice people is DO NOT GO THERE the lady Mayra behind the counter is sweet and nice until you question something they did and she becomes a different person and once her boss came out she went back to becoming the nice behind the counter person they accused us of lying and said no bother calling police they are on our side for all we do for them but go ahead if you think you can. Not sure nor can prove but when police arrived they did state that it was a civil matter this is wrong they got away with damaging my car and made it seem that the police were on their side. SO MY ADVICE IS DO NOT GO THERE IF YOUR CAR IS DAMAGED THEY WILL NOT FIX IT !! read more

They damaged my car and would not take responsibility. Identical gouges going down the contoured area of my hood on my new car, left and right sides....I have pictures....don't go! Manager said that the my new car was 'like this when I bought it', and that his car wash just washed away compound...... Took it to a detailer and they laughed at his explanation, these are gouges from pebbles or something abrasive. The detailer said they see quite a few cars because of scratches and swirls and other damages by Berlin Auto Wash. My hood must now be repainted for $$$$$. Don't take the chance...don't go here! read more

What a joke, The last time I was there around 3 months ago the towels they used to wipe down the interior were so sour I had to leave the windows down in my garage for three day and spray febeeze to get the smell out. Today was the first time back in three months and I see nothing has changed, when I left you could see pollen over half of the dash, top of doors next to windows and on the front seats, bugs still on the windshield and parts of the outside rear hatch that had not even been touched. I'm retired and If I'm going to pay $21.00 at the very least I would expect to have the whole car washed, and the whole top of the dash to be wiped down, not just one swipe down one side. So the folks that go to the BERLIN CAR WASH remember, it won't be long before the NEW CAR WASH down by home depot will be opening soon and maybe you will get a great car wash for your hard earned money. One would think with a new car wash opening down the street they would do a decent job on your vehicle to try and keep you as a loyal customer, but I guess they just don't care about losing business. Maybe they should send someone out to inspect 8-10 vehicles a day to see how there employees are doing with peoples vehicles because I know good help is hard to fine these days ( it's called quality control) So bye bye to the Berlin car wash I'll wait for the new one to open by home depot. Went to this car wash because of some decent reviews I had read, those people must have gone on a good day. Upon driving up to the wash we watched the crew brush the car down with a brush that they not only first used on the wheels, but was basically a dry brush grinding the dirt into the paint by the time they got to the back of the car. We opted for the $25 wash anyways, but asked that they not brush the car down with the same brushes they used on the wheels. Maybe because I didn't want my black paint job all scratched up from dirty brushes I should have expected the car to be dirty, but it basically looked like it did before it went through. I had to go back in and ask if it was policy that they didn't wipe down the inside, he said no, it wasn't policy but he would have them do mine. All I can say is what a waste of $30 with the tip. Been to several washes like these, I fact there's one right around the corner from my house in RI and for $18 I get a good wash and inside detail. I'll not be going back next year when I come back. read more

They failed to clean dash properly leaving pollen on it, failed to clean around instruments etc.. When I explained that the car wash I used in Virginia did a much better job, I was told by the manager "you're in Maryland not Virginia." read more

I've been going to the Berlin car wash for 6 years and decided to write a review. Every experience with them has been extremely positive. First, they do a good job, make that a great job. They are efficient, professional, and reasonably priced and offer a good combination of options. The staff from those who take your order and pre-prepare you car, to the management, to those who give your car the final services all work in concert with each other. I highly recommend this company. read more

I have been visiting this auto wash in MD, just outside of Ocean City, when in the area on vacation for a few years. The car wash portion is excellent. They have very reasonable and competitive prices and offer a great amount of service for even the base car wash (this includes interior vacuuming and wiping down your windows, inside and out!). Additionally, for $100 (small car, a Toyota Echo), I had my car fully detailed this year. This is the first time this car has been detailed in the 9 years I have owned it. Granted I vacuum and wipe it down a few times a year myself, but it needed more work than I could give it. The $100 was the best money I have spent on this car!! It looks brand new inside and out, barring the normal signs of wear that a 9 year old car has. I think they even managed to somehow clean out the ductwork of the AC system, as it's now running better than it has in years. My brother in law inspected it for me after the detail job, as he gets his cars detailed fairly often. He was very impressed with the quality of work. Staff is very curteous and anxious to please. Making an appointment is required for the car detailing, as they take a full 5 hours to do it. I whole heartedly recommend this business and can't wait to use them again when in the area next summer. Thanks again! read more

We have a beach house in Ocean Pines and I've been searching for a local car wash to take my vehicle to when we are here. I found this place on Yelp and to be honest, I'm not quite sure why this place has such bad reviews. I pulled in, my vehicle was detailed inside and out. I noticed a few spots on the inside that needed to be wiped down and the ladies there had no problem with cleaning it up. The only reason that I am giving this place 4 stars is because of the missed spots and also because I noticed a black scuff spot on the rear passenger door. When I pointed it out, the manager came over and cleaned it himself using a special solution. He also walked around the whole vehicle and found a few dried bug spots that he was able to get off as well. My family and I will definitely be back to this car wash when we are visiting our beach house. read more

I have only been once, with my buddy who goes all the time, he tips real well, and all the girls who wipe the car down at the end, know it, and love him, so, it is a pretty good show. Well... perspective is everything, if you think a bunch of Latina's oohing and aahing at a big black late modeled van is a good show, well then, you are a friend of mine, and you should head on down to the car wash for some good times. read more

Never been to a car wash that scrubbed wheels and door jambs and back of car with same brush The brush has brake dust and road grime from wheels then they scrub the back of your car The vacuum job was terrible Also when wiping car they whip wheels fender well and then the rest of car with grit from fender wells Would give double zero on rating but not available Better park your car out in the rain for a better job read more

I love how organized and efficient Berlin Auto Wash is! There was about 9 cars ahead of me, but they made the wait worth it.

I have come several times now and always get $25.00 full service it seems they miss a lot. Driver's side carpet and mat were not vacuumed or cleaned. Still lots of sand on driver's side. In side of driver door storage never wiped out. Outside around tire fenders were not clean had to get a rag when I got home and wipe it clean. With all the employees who work on your car nothing should be missed. Not sure if I will come back again. read more

I always use this car wash because they do a great job vacuuming out the inside and cleaning the windows. I have never had a problem with the towels being wet or stinky and I go several times a year. I just recently had them detail my car and was so impressed. My car is 5 years old and my dog rides in it everyday. It looked new. I don't think there was anything else they could have cleaned or done. Even the wheels were shiny. read more

Just returned from a visit to OCMD. Before my return, I stopped here to get my car cleaned. I was very happy with the process. The place was organized and clean. The people who handled the cleaning and drying off of my car where really nice and did a thorough job. The person working the counter was also very nice, and assisted me with some questions I had relating to the area. I will definitely return, and would recommend Berlin Auto Wash to others. Who would think you would find a full service car wash just past the grain elevators in the middle of nowhere. Well their it is in berlin md just outside OC. I think the reason is it cost too much for that much realestate in OC proper.Once you have been their you will come back. i have a deep red color and the hot carbona wax gives that car a deep dark beautiful shine. read more

Worst services ever! If you purchase the #5 highest level wash for $23.00 it does not include wiping the console or interior. When requested the manager said " we've had trouble with customers saying things were missing from their car" in other words he can't trust his staff but you should? ?? Must mention that his staff looks to be all Hispanic while he is not Hispanic. Not only do you get less services than you pay for, you also get insulted by biases. STAY AWAY this place is not worthy of your money read more

Very good hand car wash, many price packages to choose from and also offer hand waxing. Good prices, no issues would recommend! Have done #3 wash numerous times. read more

Not a bad car wash but not perfect either. You have to ask them to clean the inside of the back window. If you don't ask it won't happen. I also find that they do not change the drying towels often enough. There have been occasions when they wipe down the windows but they are still dirty looking when they dry. read more

Never take your vehicle to Berlin Auto Wash !!!! Took my truck to get it detailed here on Saturday and when I came to pick it up it was still filthy! I told them they needed to do it again! I use this one as it is the only one of its type within 30 miles. Good job most of the time. Don't go if it's busy as they crank up the dial and run them through too fast and it is adequate at best read more

The weather was nice today after a few weeks of state salting due to ice and snow. So yes the mine was long. They appeared to be rushed because of this and missed area if cleaning before the car ran through the actual wash. The hand brush they use is a little sketchy because I do think it creates swirl marks on the body of the car. They are better off using a hand sponge to clean some the the area rather than the rough hand brush. I used to detail cars in college and the company I worked for was very meticulous about the equipment we used to clean cars. I would avoid going when the line is long because they do seemed very rushed and do not do the best job. Otherwise it's okay if you need a quick clean. Unfortunately this is the only car wash like this for miles unless you drive to Salisbury. read more

I own 8 vehicles 4 of which are taxis. I did use this car wash regularly but NOT EVER AGAIN!! NOT ONLY DID THE MGR JIM NOT GIVE ME THE USUAL CUSTOMER LOYALTY DISCOUNT he gives my husband after I purchased a premier car wash package of over $20, but when his drivers/employees left my sun roof OPEN during the wash, he accepted no responsibility for the water damage/ accident!!!! WTH???I'm sorry, but it is the employee who drives the car into the wash, responsibility to secure the car when I hand him the keys!!! This manager had always been a rude SMARTASS to even my husband. I don't know why I expected to be treated any better or with any customer LOYALTY!! He provided no kind words, no compensation & still no discount or money back!!! None the less today was senior day with a $3 discount. I wonder how many seniors remembered to close their sunroof or window ???!!!! I will be suing them if I have any electrical problems that may ensue from this. read more

My family and I vacation every year in Ocean City Md. We are there for a couple of weeks. I like my cars clean and the ocean leaves them salty. I use the Berlin auto wash at least twice while I'm down there. Apparently some of these people have never been to another car wash. This place is spotless as are my vehicles when I leave. The help is uniformed, polite and have always done a good job for me. The manager is too quiet for me to get a read on, but he's always been polite. read more
