I am so happy that I found Mark. If you want to save a lot of money, and aren't afraid to do a little leg work (ie showing up to the courthouse on your own and turning in paperwork), I highly suggest contacting Mark. I ended up paying less than a quarter of what my original estimates from attorney's were. Mark walked me through all of the steps in my estate case, as I was standing in for a family member. He was clear about all of the steps, and very responsive. He was also super flexible when it came to meeting and/or calls. Covid definitely complicated things and postponed my court date, but Mark had some tricks up his sleeve and was able to turn in certain paperwork and have 2 court dates consolidated into one. I called to try to hire this unprofessional and rude person to help me change my last name after divorce, he offered an appointment in his home and I was a little bit weary about that, after moving the appointment to his office he said he only takes cash or check, after I said I wanted to cancel he said credit cards were accepted but I told him I still wanted to cancel my appointment with him. After I cancelled Mark was beyond rude and upset at me because I cancelled my appointment with him. As you will note, his photograph is not even on the website. He is utilizing another individual's identity to conduct business. He took $2500 for help in my divorce matter then absconded with the money. He refused to provide me copy of the agreement that I signed. He actually told me that he read my police reports as I was fighting or my children because I had lapsed into alcoholism after my kids were taken from me by my ex-husband. He was well aware of my emotionally abusive marriage and attempted to use that to not perform and keep my money. He read me wrong! I am not that person anymore who tolerates individuals to prey on those who trust them. Not only did he take 2 1/2 months to get us paperwork to fill in, I had to text him about it several times asking for it and I would either get another promised date where the paperwork was not emailed or I would hear nothing from him at all. When we finally got the final paperwork there work some numbers and dates that were incorrect. He got very defensive with us and would not answer any of my emails or texts about this. Before writing this review, I read through the others -- both positive and negative. Mark does request the money up front and conducts business from his home, but throughout our dissolution process, he answered our questions and ensured our paperwork was accurate and seamless. There were times when it seemed the process was taking longer than expected, and we seemed to lose contact, but Mark always followed up after I contacted him. My dissolution was amicable, so that helped. Working via email worked great for us, too. Our dissolution took about 8 months. Overall, Mark was extremely knowledgeable and supportive, and I would recommend him. It is much easier and quicker to get married than it is to divorce. I suggest not putting a relationship on paperwork in the first place. Lesson learned. read more
