I brought in some of her rings and asked to have them turned into two pendants--one for each of them--and Asia handled the entire process with so much compassion, care, and understanding. She was unbelievably kind and respectful of my grief, never rushing me and giving me time to process without worrying about getting the rings to her immediately. Even with a very short turnaround, she somehow made it all happen and completed everything before Christmas so I could give the pendants to the boys. Knowing how important this was to me, she went above and beyond. Throughout the entire process, Asia kept me informed every step of the way and truly made me feel like I was part of it. Her knowledge, warmth, and attention to detail are exceptional--anyone would be incredibly lucky to work with her. When I went in to drop off the rings, the shop owner and entire staff were just as kind and knowledgeable. The owner even advised me to save one of the rings instead of melting it down because it was a special Irish ring--something I had no idea about. That moment alone showed how honest and trustworthy this business is. I had dropped off my own necklace as a model for these necklaces, and when I went to pick up my necklace and the new necklaces, Asia had had the shop polish and clean my necklace. Again, just a small snapshot at how kind they are. Chrysella truly feels like a family business that genuinely cares about its customers. The pendants are absolutely beautiful and made with incredible quality. I am beyond grateful and impressed. Yes, that's dumb. We made an in home appointment with Sam who is friendly and respectful, wears shoe covers and a mask. He got right to work taking the works out and checking everything inside. Surprisingly the clock wasn't dirty but desperately needed oil. Delaying oiling it caused some minor wear on 2 gears. But he said it's not enough to need replacement or repair. I wouldn't have known the difference if he had said it did but he was honest. He oiled it, answered all my many questions as he worked and was done in 30 minutes. He asked if we would like to make an appointment for an oiling in 2 years! If you sign up for routine maintenance the price is discounted. And I need reminders! My friend had an appointment same day. Her clock needed some repairs but his estimate was way less than other clock repairs we've had done in the past. He is in great demand and has a few months wait for repairs to be completed but it'll be done right and with quality parts some of which he hand makes.

I had to use pliers to get it off so not only was it bent it also had "bite" marks from me bending it to get it off my finger. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was certain it would never be as beautiful as the day I got it. I called first after doing several Yelp searches near me. I settled in Mount Vernon because of location and positive reviews. I was hoping the fix wouldn't cost too much but the owner was unable to tell me without seeing the ring. He also figured he'd be able to do it on site same day. I walked in around 3 and it was empty. He has a little buzzer and promptly opened the door. I showed him the ring and he said he would be able to fix it in about 30 minutes and for $40. I was shocked. I was so happy to have my ring back. I also asked if he could clean it and he said no problem. I came back at 4 and the ring was ready for me. Beautifully shining and in perfect circle shape! It has never looked better. The ring was bought in NC so I am so thankful to have a trusted jeweler nearby. I also inquired about getting a new wedding band and he showed me a few in shop (he doesn't keep a lot on hand) but also showed me a book with rings he could order. I most definitely plan to do so! I walked around a good 10 minutes before anyone asked if I need assistance. Which seemed odd because, an Asian man (who I perceive to be the manager/owner) was helping another woman next to me. After showing her several watches, he recommended one I was particularly interested in. The woman glanced over the watch for an extended period of time, tried it on then gave it back to him. Before he put it back in the case, I politely, asked if I could see the watch next. The Asian man informed me that I can look at it, but was not at liberty to touch it. Mind you this is after I watched another woman casually handle the watch for as long as she wanted. In total disbelief, I turned and walk upstairs where my daughter is looking at other watches. The Asian man then yells upstairs for another assistant to help me. I tell my daughter that we will no longer be purchasing anything from here and proceed to walk out the door. I'm really glad that I gave Sacramento Jewelers my business today. It's a family owned jewelry store and I was greeted with a warm smile at the door. When I asked about replacing the batteries in my watches, instead of disappointment for such a small request, I received a very cordial and friendly response. Both batteries were installed in under 20 minutes and it was a total of $30. $15 each, and these were not inexpensive watches. I couldn't have been happier. Highly recommended and I'll come back to have a look at their jewelry and gold collection in the future.
