Brenda was very nice and helpful, listened to what I said I wanted in my ring and didn't try to up sell me a larger diamond (like.every.other.jeweler tried to). She was able to find a ring just perfect for me, even though it is not a popular style right now (not a halo, cushion cut, blah blah blah.) The ring my fiance ended up buying had been in the case for awhile (not in style, remember?) and she said the price that was listed she would honor, even though the price of gold had gone up (score!) Same thing goes for my wedding ring. No one has what I want in stores (two tone with milgrain edging on a plain band) so Brenda suggested that we have one custom done and helped me realize exactly what I wanted, and that I didn't have to settle for what is popular right now...and it is not costing a fortune just because it's "custom." Brenda and Jerry's Occoquan Jewelers have been fantastic to work with. Not pushy, listen to your request and don't try to up sell you like everyone else does! I needed a wedding band and new that I wanted a custom job. I knew exactly what I wanted in my head but Jenny helped me bring it to life. She also introduced me to world of estate diamonds...let me see a "used" diamond at a fraction of the price. Who knew!! I will never buy diamonds full price again! (Not that I buy diamonds on a regular basis!) The band came out beautifully! They offered free engraving which I took advantage of. One of the reasons it is only four stars vs. five is the engraving is crooked. It makes my ring unique sure enough but is a little hard to read at the end. The second reason it only received four stars is about two weeks after I got married a stone fell out of the setting. Luckily I found it and Jenny was great about re-setting it and checking all the prongs. Four years later I have had no issues. I still periodically take it in for cleanings and everyone is always friendly and eager to help. P.S. If you follow them on Facebook they do a twelve days of Christmas giveaway each holiday time.
