Not only did he come to my home days after I called, he found the issue plus other issues with the way it was installed and fixed those as well. Then he ardently put the fireplace back together placing each log and checking to see how how the flames looked. Mind you, he took two hours on a FRIDAY NIGHT to get this all done. So impressed! I called an thought it was Dan's that put our garage door opener in. because I thought they had put the opener in. It turns out ACS Doors of Cedar Rapids (319-251-2164. So when Dan's Doors came out to look at my opener they said they could not find a bill to put it in for me. So I went and looked and it turned out it was ACS Doors that put the opener in. So Dan's Doors charged me $116 to drive out to my house and do nothing. We do not know if the opener works or not, but we know he did nothing to fix the opener. I wouldn't use Dan's Door again.

Paid in full upfront. 3 weeks later it arrived. Looks great. However, I was delivered an 11x16 shed. Contacted the business and (in a polite tone) explained the discrepancy. The business claimed the shed dimensions are measured from the eve of the roof. Explained that before purchasing the shed I had been shown another 12x16 shed on the lot and had measured it to verify that it was in fact 12x16. The business, rather than be of any assistance, invited me out to measure any shed I want to (sarcastically inferring that I was a liar). If this is how you treat client's that have paid in full, this is the last business you will receive from me.

She saw a house she and her husband loved on the Parade of Homes, and it was one Boyd had built. They hired him to do their dream house and they absolutely love it. About 2 years ago, they saved me from losing our home owners insurance from claims that the roof was damaged, when the company involved had not seen the alleged damage (this was when we had about 2 feet of snow on the roof). We just had a large branch hit the edge of our roof. Century showed up quickly to assess it, and the young man said he would fix it that day- just needed to get supplies. It took him a couple of hours to do the job, and he also did a couple of repairs around other vents or pipes to save me problems later. The price was so low I had to ask him if he was sure it was right; I expected it to be at least twice as much, and would have paid more with no complaints.
