Sitting on the balcony, right on the lake, with a glass of wine. I told my husband that I never wanted to leave! We also had dinner at their lakefront outdoor dining area and it was fantastic! I had the trout fillet with a lemon sauce that was out of this world. It was probably swimming in the lake one hour before I ordered it. Seriously, one of the best pieces of fish I ever had. It came with baby potatoes that were cooked with butter and parsley. The people there are wonderful and very helpful, they don't provide refrigerators in the rooms, but when I brought a bottle of wine from the supermarket back to the kitchen, they were happy to chill it for us in the refrigerator downstairs. If you ever get to visit this wonderful place, do stay or have a meal there, it is really special.

My friend was not as hungry and went for the smaller option/kinder turkey schnitzel. It was actually pretty large and came with fries! If we had had more time before making the ferry it would have been a great spot to just hang out and grab some beers as well.

I chose the steak, green beans and baked potato for my entree. For dessert they had creme brulee, fruit and a small scoop of ice cream. Very delicious and satisfying. Be aware though, this part of the hotel does not have air conditioning, but as it had rained a bit while we were there (late August), the room felt just perfect. We also bad dinner at this hotel both nights, and we were pleasantly surprised :) Reasonable price and delicious/good amount of food! Service was also great, and you get the lake view from the restaurant! I will be going back to this hotel, hopefully in the near future

Hotel staff, hotel amenities, to restaurant, to view and just everything was amazing. The view is breathtaking from room, restaurant and spa floor. Just a lovely peaceful hidden gem in Austria.
