It wasn't cake at all, instead it was more of a coconut cream mould. It was also super tiny, and definitely not worth the 75 kr. I haven't tried the lunch buffet, but if the quality of food is as good as it is during dinner time, it must be great as well!

There were several dimly lit places within a couple of blocks to get meat and potatoes, and of course, there are the American fast food chains that have contaminated Stockholm to no end. Whopper anyone? However, I did notice this spot as Jamie W. and I were walking back to our hotel from Gamla Stan (the Old Town). I suggested it since it was about a five-minute walk, granted the wettest five-minute walk since Noah boarded his ark. With pants and socks soaked, we arrived. The big ticket item is clearly the 189 KR Mongolian BBQ Buffet which allows you to eat as much grilled meat as you want with the cook at the ready. Most of the other customers were piling their plates high every ten minutes or so. Jamie and I decided to contain ourselves since we were fully a bit bloated from our vacation indulgences. For a rainy night antidote, I immediately went for the 65 KR Wonton Soup which had a bounty of dumplings though the thinnest of broths (photo: http://bit.ly/23GEG0r). I'm talking about a pile of noodles that could serve an orphanage. Where do they put it away, and how do they speak what sounds like impeccable Swedish? Anyway, I'm not sure I'd be that enthusiastic to tell my fellow travelers to come dine here, but if they want to have a taste of the Far East in the midst of a Nordic rainstorm, they could do worse. The (female) owner didn't speak English, but the two men working there did - and one of them was quite fluent. He asked if we'd like anything to drink, and I said "No, just tap water". Both of the men were very friendly. When I went to pay the bill, the fluent one told me we'd each be charged 8 SEK for the water. I said "Number one, it was just tap water. Number two, we haven't been charged for tap water ANYWHERE in Stockholm (we'd even asked for it at several coffee houses when walking huge distances and everyone gladly complied). And number three, you can't charge for something when you don't first INFORM us there will be a charge". He then said it was written on the menu - and I replied, "We were never GIVEN a menu because we had the BUFFET". He still insisted, so I said "Fine; please call the POLICE and I'll *gladly* tell them what happened". That sure got his attention, after which he said he'd have to talk to the owner. Eventually he returned and said the owner insisted we pay for the water because *she* had to pay for it. I managed to not laugh and said "The water comes from the SINK, and two glasses of water costs NOTHING. Once again, we are NOT paying for the water because you did not INFORM us there was a charge - so either call the police, or else deduct it from the bill!" Yet again, he conferred with the owner - and then he returned & said she would pay for the water (?!). (Note that I've travelled extensively throughout all of Europe - except for Bulgaria - for the past 35 years and I'm very well aware that tap water isn't "available" in certain countries. However, Sweden isn't one of them). What a FOOLISH woman! If she hadn't done that, I would have given four stars - and if this wasn't our last night in Stockholm (which they certainly didn't know), we might have returned there. The only reason I'm giving three stars is because the food was tasty, the place was very clean and the interior is attractive.

When someone walks into a Chinese restaurant, it's easy to imagine they're expecting wondrous spicy meals, exotic meats and cold Chinese beer. The thing about this amateur Chinese place, it fits neither of the expectations above. The food I ordered was very obviously frozen and simply fried out of a bag. The meat had no taste whatsoever, and no hot sauce to accentuate it. The vegetables tasted completely frozen, and they were definitely NOT fresh. For all of this, I had to wait 40 minutes to be served after ordering. Not to mention the fact that the vent I was seated under constantly gave off a cold breeze which irritated everyone in the room. What surprised me the most is the amount of actual Asians in the place; I know that a lot of Europeans see a Chinese place full of Chinese folks and suspect that, probably, the food there is worth trying. Sadly, that was not the case here. I wouldn't recommend for anyone to go to this "restaurant", and to just find any other solution: I suspect in this case a local MAX would do for a good dinner just that one time.

Their sushi rice is not too sweet or too sticky, unlike most of "SUSHI" places in Sweden, and is formed to the right tightness and size. All my Japanese friends who have tried Mutto say only good things about their sushi! It is not an gourmet sushi bar (like Seikoen or Sushi Sho) but it is a perfect place to get a quick sushifix.
