Stopped here for a quick snack and got the onion foccacia- it was absolutely DELICIOUS! I personally love onion and it captured the flavor really well. The texture of the bread was also on point. If you aren't a big fan of onion then I wouldn't order that specific foccacia, but they had plenty of other foccacia variants in addition to a wide variety of pastries that all looked incredible. Super reasonably priced too, if I remember correctly the foccacia (which was larger than my head) cost less than 3 euros. read more

Such a cute place. They have pizza by square slices and sweet pastries as well. But the Star is the Nuvella bread which is indigenous to Lake Como. Must-Try 5 out 5. The price is cheap comparing all of the eateries in the area. read more

OMG for only 5-6 euros you can get a large delicious individual pizza Seriously out of all the Italian places I tried, I would have to say this place makes the best pizza. They really specialize in their pizza dough. It always comes super warm and soft. This place also does a great job of putting on the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. It's a must get if you are hungry and want something cheap. i split it with one other girl and it was more than enough. Definitely worth the price and oh so good. This place also has freshly made pastries, cakes, bread, and coffee. The inside is small. There is no place for dining. You choose what you want at their counter and pay at the register. read more

If you're looking for cheap food in Lake Como and don't care to dine in, come here. Actually, you should just come here either way. First of all, their selection of everything is just amazing. They have a great spread of bread, little pastries, cakes, and even fresh made pasta to take home and cook. Their savory baked goods selection is also killer. All types of pizza, quiches, and tartines - all of which were fresh baked. My favorite was surprisingly the anchovy pizza - if you are fine with eating anchovies you must try this! The way the anchovy is baked into the pizza makes it buttery and salty in the best way possible. The mushroom pizza and spinach quiche were also fantastic. A note on prices - everything here is priced by weight. There are some items that have a designated price which was usually noted at the front of the display case. The staff does not speak english so I'm still not sure what was the price per weight for anything, but the pizza squares never came out to more than 5 euro. read more

This place looks high-end and was crazy crowded so we had high expectations. We bought 8 pieces of cake (4 different types) for my 5 year old daughter's birthday. Nobody finished their first piece... not even the kids. Every cake was crazy dry and the frosting was cheap, despite the fact that they all looked beautiful. I know I sound like a pompous diva complaining about cake, but I wish I would have read a review that tapered my expectations before going into this shop.... Short story is we were way disappointed and ended up throwing away €25 worth of cake! One of the pieces we got was a lemon torte. It was by far the best and the only piece that was eaten completely... that's why this place gets an extra star. read more

Stopped in because of the aroma coming from inside. They had just pulled a pizza out of the oven and we had to try some. OMG, it was incredible. Just a plain cheese pizza, but the dough and crust were soft. The dough was covered in a buttery type of oil that was great. We tried going back for a full dinner the next day but it was closed by 7. read more

We tried 3 bakeries in Como in half a day, and this was the best. We tried Sfogliatella. The pastry was slightly on the thick side but the filling was pleasant enought with ricotta cheese and candiedcitrus peels. Next time, we will try their signature Nuvola. read more

Great bakery to get morning food. Quick and close enough to the bus depot to to walk before having to ride the Como buses around the lake. Very delicious! read more
