I used Brian and their firm. It was a terrible terrible decision. I could write a book about it. All I can tell you is this. Brian Beresh is simply likely not performing as well as he once was, perhaps 20+ years ago. He's VERY forgetful. And that could hurt you big time in court. Brian most often uses a Jr lawyer (as you see in the their profile photo) to help him even do a case, because he's constantly forgetting what's happening. I mean the guy is close to 80 yrs old, what do you expect. Also they charge fees that are literally about 10x higher than anyone. They're possibly the most expensive firm in the city. Too bad the service doesn't match that. My guess is that they charge so much to try and make it look as if you're getting better service. In my personal opinion, I don't believe that's at all true. I think you're getting a guy who's needs to seriously consider retirement before he does anymore harm to average unsuspecting people. And I doubt their "win record" is what it once was say 20+ years ago. Now it's likely a lot more losses for clients. And considering what you're paying that's just extremely sad. It's like going to a 5 star rated restaurant and getting served a Mcdonalds burger. I mean come on! I just think that there should be a law against any lawyer practicing after a certain age in which they no longer can ever remember what's going on in case. It's not right. Because then the client ends up getting serious harm as a result of the poor performance of the lawyer, which may not be meeting a reasonable standard any longer. And when it comes to criminal matters the harm to the client could be EXTREMELY serious. Anyway I've said far more than I wanted to. I just feel I had probably the worst experience of my life using this firm. To the point where I'd never ever hire any lawyer again for anything. They're not to be trusted. Lawyers are professional liars. That's what they do. Safer to just get a public defender. Far far safer. The reason is simply because the public defender just wants to close your case so they'll try and settle, and cut a deal. Typically that would get you off with the least damage and the least expense. I'm just terribly terribly disappointed with Brian's overall performance. It was just awful. Anyway, worst decision of my life. I'd never ever recommend Brian Beresh to anyone (or Beresh Law). Stay far away! You've been warned. Again this is just my opinion from someone who's used them. They got serious problems over there in the way they operate, in my opinion. read more
