As any parent seeking the best education for my child, I can confidently say that this Montessori school surpassed all expectations. From the moment we stepped into the building, it was evident that this institution had crafted an exceptional environment tailored to foster children's growth and development. We came to Sugarcreek after a bad experience with another school. Our daughter bloomed under the teaching & admin staff's care! There are so many wonderful things about this Montessori but a few highlights below. Key highlights: 1. Teaching staff: Ms. Arzu and Ms. Tatiana from T2 are truly exceptional educators. They treat every child as if they were their own, and their dedication is unparalleled. Ms. Arzu, with her years of experience, has a remarkable ability to bring out the best in kids. She is attentive, caring, and firm, all at the same time. Under her guidance, my daughter is now potty trained and even started eating well, resulting in significant weight gain. As for Ms. Tatiana, she is a beacon of positivity. She is so very kind, and positive. Despite no longer attending this school, my daughter continues to adore her, and she talks about Ms. Tatiana every single day. 2. Admin: Rebecca, Sofia, and Lydia are truly exceptional individuals. From the very beginning, they embraced us like family, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where we felt comfortable approaching them with anything at any time. Rebecca's influence on this school is nothing short of remarkable. We now recognize the vital role a strong director plays in shaping the success of an educational institution, and Rebecca embodies this role flawlessly. She is a true rockstar in every sense. Sofia's proficiency in school policies, protocols, and any important dates/events you name it is impressive. Her wealth of knowledge and extensive experience in childcare were readily apparent, and she was always delighted to share valuable tips and tricks with us. Sofiya is an indispensable asset to the team. Lydia completes this rockstar trio with her unwavering dedication and support. She consistently goes the extra mile to ensure that every aspect of the school runs smoothly. Together, Rebecca, Sofia, and Lydia form an outstanding team that elevates the school to new heights. 3. Learning and Development: Each classroom is thoughtfully designed to cater to different age groups, promoting independent exploration and hands-on learning. The use of natural materials, child-sized furniture, practical skills taught and so much more further fosters a sense of ownership and responsibility, empowering the children to take charge of their learning journey. It's incredible to see my daughter carrying out daily tasks and chores with full independence at the age of three. I also appreciated the commitment to a well-rounded education. Besides the academic, the school offers an array of enriching activities like art, music, dance, and yoga allowing children to explore their interests and talents freely. My daughter now teaches me yoga! 4. Friends and Student Body: We firmly believe that having the right friends and a diverse student body has had a tremendous impact on our daughter. The school is home to some of the most kind-hearted, innocent, and genuinely sweet children, all hailing from loving households. Moreover, the student body represents a rich tapestry of diversity. A few weeks after attending the school, our daughter surprised us by expressing her desire to visit India and her knowledge about the country astonished us, considering her young age. This incident highlighted the positive influence of her interactions with peers from various backgrounds and how it sparked her curiosity and interest in the wider world. I've exceeded my word limit in writing this review and I still have many more incredible things to share. Send your child to this school, you will not regret it.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE OF A SCHOOL!!!! My toddler was enrolled…read morehere for THIRTY days! I should have read the poor reviews before considering this school. From the very beginning it was chaotic. At orientation the principal announces that the pre-k teacher was no longer employed, and they were putting in two interim teachers who had been with the school for years. School started the following week so of course by this time it's too late to find your child a different placement. First week of school both interim teachers quit in the middle of the week, which led to two pre-k classes being combined and being taught by the teacher's aide. They then hired an uncertified "pre-k teacher" with only a high school diploma. Of course I wanted to meet her so I walk my child into the classroom and the new teacher just stands there, not even attempting to greet me or my child. After standing there for several minutes I decided to go ahead and introduce myself and my child. Second week of school I notice my child's lunch keeps coming home untouched, which was odd because I packed all his favorite foods. I then realized the school was not assisting him in opening the containers, so he was going from 7:45am-5:45pm with no food just a snack. When I brought this to the staff's attention, they denied not opening the containers, however, after that conversation I noticed his containers would come back with the food eaten. The following week I noticed when he would have toileting accidents, he would come home in someone else's pull-up even though I would pack additional underwear and pull-ups in his backpack. One day I picked him up from school and he reeked of urine. When I changed his clothes, I noticed he had on a dry pull-up, was put back in the urinated pants, but his change of clothes was still in his backpack. On his fourth week, the school had the audacity to call CPS on my family with claims of physical abuse. On this day I went to the school to pick up my child and was approached by a CPS investigator. Two nights prior my toddler decides to climb into my infant's activity chair and gets his legs stuck inside causing a bruise on his legs. Thank goodness I have cameras throughout my home and was able to share the video footage of the incident from start to finish with the investigator where it shows how it took me five minutes to pry him out of the chair, and me putting ice packs on his legs to try and reduce the swelling and bruising. The investigators statement was "this was just a boy being a boy," (my exact thoughts). However, the thought of what could have happened had I not had that footage is devastating. Not to mention both my fiancé and I hold professional state licenses working with children. The issues this could have caused us professionally had we not had video proof is insurmountable. To add more to the embarrassment and humiliation the investigator had to do her due diligence of contacting my nanny and other friends of the family for statements. If you are a parent looking for a nurturing, positive learning environment where your child will flourish and has a low staff turnover, I recommend finding a school with trained, certified, and professional staff.

I am extremely disappointed at the lack of sensitivity from the school at this time during the Covid 19 pandemic. The school hasn't been sensitive to the financial constraints parents are facing. Sugar Creek Montessori has not adjusted the tuition for the time the school has been closed (two weeks now). They have charged parents for the normal curriculum which includes full time staff and materials but are only providing "ONLINE TEACHING" which should be offered at a discount. Some of us are out of work or have reduced incomes. Others are trying to manage the demands of working from home while taking care of our kids. I've sent multiple emails regarding a refund or at least a credit and all I get is a generic response "Thank you for your feedback". I have tried calling, but I of course do not get an answer. Understand, I am not giving you my feedback I need an answer! Your policy is "NO PRORATION FOR SICKNESS AND/OR VACATION", however, this is not a vacation, this is an unfortunate situation the world has encountered so all I am asking for is for fairness and my tuition to be valued at the product I am getting or lack of product to be honest. My child has been at this school for 2 years now and has enjoyed his time there. His teachers are great and he loves them very much. We have never had any issues prior to this situation, but at this point I feel the need to complain and voice my frustration with the administration. I have called around to check other schools policies and I am astonished to find out that 2 owners of two well known Montessori schools are discounting the tuition due to this pandemic situation without hesitation. I would hope that your school or should I say our school would be one of the local schools to acknowledge the services being rendered do not warrant the tuition fees we paid during the month of March. As of now, parents have been told April tuition will be charged once the school figures out how to offer an "off-site curriculum". Which once again leaves an uncertainty of the fees we will pay for a video to homeschool our child.
