The medical director, William M. Roddy, DO provided the very best medical care anywhere! I have…read moreknown of countless patients of his who credit him for saving their lives! He was beyond a brilliant physician! An extremely talented yet very compassionate man who truly cared about his patients yet obviously wasn't concerned about revenue. He was selfless, consistently put his patients needs before his own. I have talked with many people including some that told me he was their doctor and they had been to up to 14 other doctors including major medical center teams of doctors. They said that none of them could find out what was wrong with them and were no able to help them. They said that within minutes of their first visit to Dr. Roddy was able to determine what things were wrong with me. Within 2 days of him treating him they were at least 95% better. The people I spoke with said they were certain that God sent them to Dr.Roddy. Patients knew that Dr. Roddy had severe neck and back problems. I heard through the grapevine that Dr. Roddy went to California to have his mid back operated on and that he woke up paralyzed with zero feeling from the waist down. From what I was told, the neurosurgeon, Henry E. Aryan, MD tried to perform a surgery that he had only seen once during his training that was reserved exclusively for young children with spinal tumors or brain tumors. Dr. Aryan admitted that he did not explore the surgery area before the wound was closed and that he didn't check his condition before he hurriedly left the hospital. This was confirmed by the recovery room nurses. Also, they called Dr. Aryan on his beeper, cell phone and home phone constantly for 6 hours and left him detailed messages about Dr. Roddy's condition. I was informed by several reliable sources that after around 6 hours and 25 minutes later Dr. Aryan arrived at Dr. Roddy's recovery room with a strong smell of alcohol on him. Dr. Roddy had a an RN friend with him the entire time. Dr. Aryan had Dr. Roddy rushed to get a CAT scan of his mid back. An extremely large blood clot and countless sharp bone fragments compressed his spinal cord so much that permanently ruined and tore his spinal cord. I happened to see a close friend of Dr. Roddy's and he told me that Dr. Aryan said to Dr. Roddy that there was almost no chance that Dr. Roddy would ever be able to move his lower extremities again. I was told that Dr. Roddy and his nurse demanded that Dr. Aryan tell them why he didn't find the blood clot and the bone fragments before closing, ( it's a given that all doctors who operate always explore and thoroughly irrigate the wound before closing.) Dr. Aryan said he just didn't explore. I understand that Dr. Aryan asked Dr. Roddy if he wanted him to take him back to surgery and remove the blood clot and the bone fragments. Dr. Roddy told him that he definitely did. After the second surgery he was still paralyzed from the waist down. I was also told that Dr. Roddy developed pneumonia and severe shortness of breath. The hospital had a neurologist intensive care unit and another ICU as well. However in spite of the fact that Dr. Roddy was in critical condition Dr. Aryan refused to tender him and kept him on a regular floor bed where there was no monitoring on him. After surgery Dr. Roddy knew that he had an intestinal obstruction. The entire 11 days Dr. Roddy was in the hospital Dr.. Aryan did not see him one time, in spite of the fact that he promised Dr. Roddy and his nurse that he would come see at one or two times per day. Also, from an internet complaint written by Dr. Roddy I read that Dr. Aryan followed Dr. Roddy on his gurney back to his room after the second surgery and wrote his cell phone number on a card and told Dr. Roddy to call him on his anytime he wanted to speak with him whether was day or during the middle of the night. I read where he told TDr. Roddy that he was here for him. Dr. Roddy's complaint read that when after 36 the P.A. of Aryan's wouldn't get Aryan to come see him he told the PA that if he didn't get a gastroenterologist ASAP his colon would perforate and it would surely kill him. My nurse and I told him that if I died not he be sued and charged with wrongful death but Dr. Aryan and the entire hospital would be served notice as well. I read that within minutes a gastroenterologist showed up and took Dr. Roddy to surgery immediately. I understand that he harshly scolded the PA and told him that a gastroenterologist should have been called to see him as soon as his whole abdomen had no bowel sounds which was just after Dr. Roddy's second surgery. I read where the told all of them that it was a miracle that Dr. Roddy's intestines hadn't perforated hours before. In closing, I read where Dr. Roddy wrote in a complaint that he called Dr. Aryan's cell phone and it went to voicemail. According to Roddy's complaint he left a voicemail for Dr. Aryan. Later he found he was blocked.

He is very skilled , compassionate, loyal , respectful and proessional all the way . He is the best diagnostic physician I have ever known and i've been a nurse for 42 years . I am looking forward to seeing him well and back into practice . The world needs more doctors like him and there would be a lot less lawsuits .

Horrible experience. DR. RABBANI is the rudest medical professional I have ever had the displeasure…read moreof meeting. I have a history of ADHD. When I received my diagnosis at the age of 35, it was life-changing. I remember thinking "is this how the rest of the world views projects, work, discipline, and anything requiring focus." I finally understood myself. Unfortunately, I needed a fresh start after a few years of not taking my medicine. Dr. Rabbani only looked at forms that I filled out (which only asks questions regarding anxiety, depression, and substance and physical abuse) and had less than one minute conversation before refusing to prescribe Aderral. I even told him it didn't have to be that particular med, if that was his concern. He made me feel like I was drug-seeking and was very argumentative. He said I was diagnosed too late for it to be accurate, that ADHD is only diagnosed in young people!!! He says I dont have ADHD, that I have anxiety and depression. I asked how did medications help me in the past if I dont have ADHD. His answer was that cocaine would help, but that didnt mean I should take it. When I questioned further for understanding, he said "I cant make it any clearer that I wont prescribe Aderral." He would not take a look at the medical records I had sent to his office. He only made an assessment based on a skewed questionnaire that I filled out when I was stressed. He asked "do you have any other medical issues *glances in my direction* other than being overweight." I told him I have sleep apnea which can cause the high blood pressure I'm having, but that its currently untreated because my insurance deductible is too high. He immediately questioned "oh you have money for Aderral but not to fix the root cause of your high BP." Aderral is $15 a month vs. $5000 for diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea. He accused me of refusing his treatment plans when I told him my insurance deductible is too high for therapy. No attempt was made to understand why I feel I have, or why two previous Psychiatrists diagnosed me with ADHD. He clearly does not understand ADHD because zero questions were asked once he honed in on anxiety. I have trouble focusing, forgetfulness, executive function paralysis, trouble with every-day conversations, eye contact, hyper fixation and other BASIC symptoms. He did not ask about any of this. I genuinely felt like this man thought I was trying to "score" some meds. He mentioned people sell it on the street and made a cocaine reference twice. I will take a drug test if you want!! I feel that he took one look at me and made an assessment. Overweight: must be trying score adderral to lose weight. Why would a PSYCHIATRIST be so confrontational? I feel attacked. Dr. Rabbani does not understand financial strain and is very judgmental and condescending. These are not good attributes for a psychiatrist. Thank you for stealing a $50 copay from me and whatever balance awaits because I havent met my deductible.
