We bought our home in 2004 when it was built. The original garage door spring broke in June 2009 - roughly 5 years. We've been here for 14 years now. When the spring broke this time, I checked my notes and found that A-1 Door had replaced it then. I realized that it had been 9 long years on the new spring, instead of 5. Guess who I called. Right. When I called Monday morning, they said they could send someone out the same day. Ron arrived before too long, got us fixed up and working again. He has been doing these garage doors for 30 years and knew his stuff. He even checked out the other garage door as well. So now I go and give my dad the phone to talk to the lady and she kept insisting that it was our fault and that we were lying about the man saying that he was going to get a bite to eat, and he was going to come back to do the door. The customer service is very bad and they do not believe in discounts, even though this was their fault for leaving us without a door for our garage and we have valuables in our garage. Instead of trying to compensate you with a discount or anything the only other option is for them to come back in the morning. They do not believe that they're wrong in any situation instead they blame you, try to make you the bad person and try to gaslight you. All they want is money.
