They are just gorgeous and, unfortunately, I failed to take a photo of them to show you (I'm such a terrible Yelper sometimes). It must have been fate because all the boots on the shelves were the only sizes the store had in stock and my size just happened to be sitting right there in front of me. So, I was able to try on my first pair of cowgirl boots! They fit perfectly and, of course, they were completely adorable. I just wasn't ready to pay the $465 price tag so I put them back on the shelf for someone else to discover and cherish. While I was busy being infatuated with boots, Mr. P. was trying on hats from the huge selection of men's and ladies' Western style headwear. He found the perfect hat and it was even on sale but, sadly, they didn't have his size. The friendly and helpful shopkeeper gave him all the information about the hat so he could find it online and order it that way. She said she was just happy to help him find what he wanted, even if he didn't buy it from her store. I thought that was awesome. The store carries lots of Western clothing and jackets, tons of leather belts & belt buckles, and all kinds of leather accessories like wallets, key rings, and leather bracelets. I walked in and was greeted immediately by a precious young sales associate . I told her what I needed. She let me browse and she and another precious associate made some suggestions. No high pressure selling. They reminded me of a sales associate I use at a favorite boutique at home. I love the fact that they put out one size of each item and not cram so many clothes together that it feels overwhelming and exhausting. I left with some cute things. My husband was with me and he was happy because they had chairs he could sit in while I shopped. All boutiques should do that. The price points are high, but it is no different than other boutiques I have shopped at in other resort areas.
