Work done by company was sub-standard. Company said it would do work for a specific cost, did…read moresub-standard work and left very quickly. Work was done in September for 3 pieces of work: 1) remove chimney and top off 2) fix a bubble formed in the stucco of the house 3) fix the cracks and peeled stucco at the bottom of garage. The following was done: 1) Chimney was not taken down, only topped off with some mortar poorly placed in between bricks. Cost was $600 which I was told was a deal because the company usually earns $1000 a day. 2) The bubble in the stucco cost another $600. The bubble was removed but the stucco repair was a grey and no attempt was made to color the stucco so it matched the rest of the house. 3) The garage work was the worst. I was charged $1400 to remove the stucco at the bottom of the garage, have a water barrier and mesh wire inserted around the bottom of the garage and stucco applied to the bottom of the garage to finish the work. When the 2 fellows arrived, one talked and the other did the work. They were there a total of 1.5 hours. The water barrier was not inserted although they said it was. The old stucco was not removed as I was told. I was told it would be removed up to the cracks but it was not and cracks were filled in with a white filler. Finally the stucco placed on top to finish the job was done so poorly, it looks awful. After 1.5 hours, they left so quickly, I couldn't discuss the results. The work was definitely not worth $1400. All was paid in cash on the day they did the work.
