(Visited 7 times over the course of a couple of months with the last visit on 12/17/2019.) So I was doing my work up the street from here and I don't really like the guilty feeling I have after eating fast food, but I wouldn't consider this place "fast food" so I didn't feel as bad. I discovered it way too late in my opinion or else I would've eaten here more often! Lol. So I'll tell you why I liked this place so much. Atmosphere/Appearance: Right on the edge of the industrial section of Varennes is this gem, slightly tucked away behind a gas station. It's a big stand-alone building with a private parking lot and of course, a drive through! It just feels SO NICE inside the giant open building. The ceilings are high, stuff is clean and it just feels... nice! Lol. There's a play area in the back for kids, a separate room for families to dine and lots of natural light pouring in. Service: There isn't much service because you go up to the order window, place your order then you're given a buzzer which will activate when your food is ready. You then return to the counter and retrieve your meal! Food: What continuously drew me here is the simplicity of the food and the salad bar. I stuck with the 6-piece chicken tender that usually comes with fries, coleslaw and bread, but I would sub all of those sides for the soup/salad bar. The food is made-to-order because it always came out piping hot. Of course you could also eat as much soup and salad as you desired. Value: VERY good for the amount of food you're getting! I think I'd spend about $19.00CAD here each time I came and I usually need a nap by the time I'm done. Lol. In conclusion, this is my lunch spot. Period. Lol. I may alternate with a couple of others nearby, but I loved this place. It was fast, simple and you don't have to shell out a whole bunch of money. read more
